LOGAN, Utah (WABC) -- A dangerous social media stunt took a serious turn in Utah.
A college student was hospitalized after ingesting a Tide Pod. Utah State University says it happened Saturday afternoon in a dorm.
There is no word on the student's condition, but she was conscious after medics put her in an ambulance.

I knew a kid who, when his mom asked him if he knew why she was washing his mouth with soap, said
“I’ll tell you when you get this shit out of my mouth.” Mom quit from laughing so hard.
No, what?
Why? Its not like its harming smart productive people...
Hell I feel Stupid...
I thought all these stupid memes were because of younger pre-school age kids eating them...
I Did not realize they were Hillary voters!
The precious millennials “need” pods to do their laundry, because apparently using a small scoop to measure powder is “too hard” and “too time consuming.” I know it takes me a good 2-3 seconds to do it and who in bloody hell has that kind of time these days?
No to everything you said.
even dish washing tablets are same packaging...
Now, the dishwasher tabs are pretty awesome because trying to neatly put the powder in that stupid, shallow, tiny flip door cup is next to impossible. But tabs for the clothes washer is just stupid.
I got it as a kid and so did my son, the oldest of the 3 kids... washing the dirty mouth!
Nothing extreme really, a couple swipes on the tongue and scrape across the top teeth on the way out to taste it a little while... LOL. He went out and said dad made me taste soap for lying and other two learned from big brother...
Wondering if one of his daughter’s will now that you mention it? Is that child abuse now days?
How can people be so stupid...
At Ivy League schools, they stick to the tried and true goldfish.
How can people this stupid be in college?
how is it the CEOs fault that people are idiots?
if anything he is doing the world a favor
Why on earth would they do this?
why would you just post a snide comment on something that is likely an honest mistake?
Was it the CEO of Johnson & Johnson's fault that the Tylenol were poisoned in the 80's? No, but it was his responsibility to handle it for the company.
This is very true. My late mother used to say “God put stupid people on the Earth as an example to the rest of us’’.
Why? They are already offering child proof containers of them to protect kids. If you are old enough to be in college, and do not understand this is a bad idea, well, I don’t know what to say.
I will admit to purposely buying these yesterday because I know there will be some backlash. Although, most brands offer the pods. I prefer them.
Next thing you know, they will be eating the Unstoppables too. smh
College, huh?
Wow!
Your meme-fu is strong!
