I have nothing against moms breast feeding infants in public. I am a dad and I understand the need sometimes. But discretion should be the norm. At least try to be discreet and classy about it. Let’s not use your child to make a political statement, huh.

My wife and I were visiting the American History Museum in DC many years ago, when my first child was only about 6 months old. We were in the area and had taken a train to downtown. My wife needed to feed my daughter. So we sought out as secluded place in the museum as we could find. No joke, we ended up in a corner of the Black History section of the museum. There was nobody in there. My wife asked me, is it racist that we chose this room for privacy. I laughed and said. It’s not us. It’s all the other visitors that are apparently not interested in Black History. I suppose we are just taking advantage of their racism.
