A Missouri teenager has been charged with child porn possession after his father found pictures of a nude toddler on his cellphone.
According to KTVI, Paul Spensberger found the images after confiscating his son Andrew Spensberger's, cellphone. He had taken the device away as punishment.
Advertisement He reported the images to police on Dec. 30.
The O'Fallon Missouri Police Department says the images were of a 2-year-old girl, a relative of Paul Spensberger's girlfriend.
Andrew Spensberger reportedly took the pictures while the child was asleep on the floor of his bedroom.
Andrew told investigators he was planning to sell the images to a classmate he suspects is a pedophile. He thought he would be able to get $330 for the pictures.
The teen was taken to the St. Charles County jail. Bail was set at $10,000 cash.
Paul Spensberger told DailyMail.com that he was "disgusted" by the images and felt he had no choice but to contact the police.
"He feels like s---. He feels remorse and he is scared, he's facing time in prison. I could go and get him but he needs to learn," he said.

As another freeper said on this thread, he should have held turning him in to the cops over his head and demanded clinical therapy and imposed a litany of other common sense disciplines on him.
You do not “shake” being branded a “sex offender”. It’s a life sentence.
You’re crying over the poor 17 year old that decided to take pictures of a 2 year old and sell them to someone he thought was a pedophile? What about the two year? And it’s definitely going to take this kid and others who hear about it on a different path. It’s your approach of keeping it quiet and sweeping it under the rug that causes this to keep happening more and more to other two year olds
My opinion is that some kids have such a stubborn bent that they won’t listen, and that the filthy sh!theads that still shield their offspring when they become sexual predators preying on children need to be dropped into the depths of the sea chained to the same millstone as their spawn.
Which raises the question, what else has the son viewed or sold in terms of child pornography and what would make him think a fellow classmate would be interested in purchasing the photos unless the classmate is indeed a pedopohile and has shared his stash of photos with this kid.......
Hopefully the cops will be able to confiscate the kid's computer for examination.........

Not BS. If it ever came out the father knew the pics were there, and did nothing, then the father would be in trouble. In fact, it matters not what the father did or did not do. Once he witnessed the pics, father was in trouble, and HAD to act. Lose job, be forever marked, etc. Do we know if the son was open to quit this, or was he a belligerent son? The son obviously knew right from wrong, but chose to profit from it. Father was right, since son could have blackmailed father for money as well. Crazy.

I was thinking of a shrink who'd tell the kid "son,things like that just aren't done.It's very,very wrong...as well as very,very illegal."
Had I been effed up or stupid enough to do something like that the police would have been a better option as my dad would have LITERALLY, physically killed me.

But that’s not what shrinks do.
They usually leave the patient with the feeling that it is society that is wrong, but that they have to find a way to conform.
