Black Death TWO: Girl, 9, drops dead as strange 'eye-bleeding fever' spreads

She had contracted the bizarre new disease with similarities to the Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever.

This disease — usually spread by tick bites or contact with infected livestock — can cause muscle pains, headaches, vomiting, diarrhoea and bleeding.

...

A rapid response health team was rushed from the local hospital with a body bag to collect her and prevent any possible outbreak.

Health teams disinfected the girl's home after her death on Thursday night local time, but didn't give her grieving family any details about when they could have her body back.

Speaking to local media, family member Harriet Nalunkuma said: "We are stranded on what to do because the health teams took away the body.

"We are waiting for a communication regarding the burial arrangements."

Local district Health Officer Dr Badru Ssesimba confirmed that blood samples from the girl's body had been handed over to the Uganda Virus Research Institute, but wouldn't give more details.

Ebola, part 2?
Is this one of those groups that digs up and ‘dances’ with their deceased family members in an ancient ritual. Some rituals need to be confined to the history books.

Lee, I hope you understand how racist your remarks are. Dancing with the dead. What could go wrong with that. Bringing in people from far and wide will increase the amount of viruses and bacteria. This will lead to stronger immune systems after a few billion people are eliminated. This goes for pooping in pools and other public areas. Third world sanitary conditions are actually a blessing.

Well, if it is a filovirus disease (Ebola or Marburg), they probably will not get the body back for burial.

I can’t tell from a brief description in a news item. The diagnostic testing will tell for sure what the disease is.

Marburg and Ebola are extremely similar in symptoms. IIRC, Marburg has a gene that Ebola does not have, which is why it is classified as a separate species.

This reminds me of how Obama administration handled the Ebola outbreak in the country from affected Africans and aid workers traveling here from their S###hole countries...

ABC puts together a nice timeline here:
Ebola in America: Timeline of the Deadly Virus - ABC News

http://abcnews.go.com/Health/ebola-america-timeline/story?id=26159719

I still find it amazing Obama didn't declare a travel ban from the affected areas of Africa.

The CDC did a great job in spite of Obama...

This could have been a disaster

>> I still find it amazing Obama didn’t declare a travel ban from the affected areas of Africa. <<

Obama would not have banned them even if they were traveling as a fully armed infantry battalion. He would have declared them poor disadvantaged children.

And it is average folks who suffer from the decisions of the elites and not the elites themselves.

“I can’t tell from a brief description in a news item. The diagnostic testing will tell for sure what the disease is.”

There are diseases in the third world that medicine has no clue what they are. Also, they are constantly mutating.
