With the passing of the "Trump"/"GOP" tax cuts & Tax reform bill and the immediate reaction of many American corporations, companies and small businesses, publicly bringing forth their intentions to use these tax breaks to grow their businesses and improve the wages and benefits to their rank & file employees, the political self-destruction of the Democrat Party is now fully under way. Talk about folks not being the sharpest knife in the drawer. That gotta be none other then Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, the Democrat Party and their lock step, biased, uninformed media.
AT&T, Comcast, Boeing, FedEx, etc., have immediately laid out their aggressive, plans for expansion, growth and hiring of new employees by the thousands.
The mega act of Boeing, is their now ongoing talks with Embraer Aircraft Company in Brazil with Boeing's intent to purchase Embraer for some three billion plus dollars. Point of interest...Boeing seeks to capture the "commuter, short run" commercial aircraft market, worldwide. The only real competition is Bombardier in Canada and a company in the PRC (China). By continuing operations in Brazil and moving/building aircraft manufacturing plants here in the USA...Boeing in a short time frame will own that market.
Trump and the Republicans win again and in fact, keep on winning. If I were a Democrat...I would not get too thrilled about the upcoming mid-term elections next November 6, 2018. Trump and his army of pro-Americans is winning now and will keep on winning, regardless of what political polls are crowing.

I disagree 100%. The normal Dim voter has no idea whats happening other than what the MSM tells them. In fact, I see the 2018 mid-term elections as a toss up.

Democrats literally see the world differently. They will not, on average, see the economic stimulus. They see a windfall for rich companies, all of which are bad for (choose any or all) society, people, whales, global warming, women, minorities, babies (those who haven’t been aborted) and the polar ice caps. There is no reasoning with them and you can’t pull their blinders off. There’s a saying that a conservative is a liberal who has been mugged. I have seen liberals get mugged and blame their whiteness.
Liberals don’t want people to have jobs as richer people pollute and they don’t vote Democrat. They want people divided into buckets by race, religion, sex, sexual identity...the list here is endless as well. That’s because you don’t win political races by uniting people. You win by dividing them such that you end up with 51%.
I have heard more than one Democrat express the feelings that it would be a good thing if half of the people died off. They don’t see themselves as part of the half that die. They have health insurance, a job and are comparatively well off, so they won’t be in that half. They don’t realize that the amenities they have, cell phones, cheap TV’s and other electronics, affordable cars, etc. all rely on having a potential sales base in the billions of units. Eliminate half of the Earth’s population and the rest of us suddenly won’t be nearly as well off. Their understanding of the economy and social aspects of life in general is near zero.
I see a great RNC ad and an opportunity. Show Pelosi\Shumer as silhouettes and show their failures under Obama....ISIS rising, sour economy, racial strife, stagnation, urban crime run amok....then you do the 1984 morning in America-like ad...queue the Aaron Copeland...”You have a choice America, going backwards to a darker time were we are against each other or forward together in prosperity and optimism.”. Show the Democrats as agitators and the angry mob bent on destruction of the American way of life.
The 3-5% growth in GDP will improve the generic ballots. I think personally we gain in the Senate and keep the House.
Getting that tax bill through was absolutely critical, it’s all about the economy.

Mr sneakers called me from his job today to tell me that the business he works for decided - this morning - to give all employees a $1500 bonus! They cited the reason as being Trump’s tax reform bill! Yes, the democrats are going to regret their stubborness and lies!

The Republicans in Congress can still through the House and the Senate to the Democrats in November if they keep stonewalling the President. McConnell seems to have seen that the side his bread is buttered on is the side that hit the floor a year ago and is trying to quickly butter the other side of the bread.
