Gene Simmons is being sued by a woman who says the Kiss bassist groped her and made “unwanted, unwarranted sexual advances” during an interview she conducted last month, according to legal documents obtained by TheWrap.
The radio and television broadcaster (identified as “Jane Doe”) is suing for sexual battery, gender violence, battery and assault.

It’s not legal proof of guilt. But luckily we’re in the post OJ era, we can assess guilt on our own outside of the legal arena.
Because unless he went to full fledged rape the crimes he’d be charged with are a slap on the wrist. He’d get fined a couple of grand IF the DA was willing to take the case. If all it’s going to cost him is money might as well make it a serious amount of money.

Why did you meet him? Are you a Kiss fan?
His restaurant, his employees. They won’t see anything.
So why did she take the interview- didn't bother to do her research? The guy has a tongue long enough to reach across the table. She should at least have brought a fly swatter and pepper spray.
His guilt of a sexual crime may be used as evidence in a civil case. Plus an offended person often litigates on principle not cash.
If they were in his restaurant ,for an interview ,there had to be plenty of other people around. I doubt she showed up all by her lonesome. So, if she became that uncomfortable, get up and leave or was the “interview” more important. Do any of these women have the nerve to just confront the guy and say “cut it out?” Now, of course ,being in a one on one in a hotel room with a predator like Weinstein I.S a whole different story. You’re pretty much trapped.
So what you're saying is that she should sit and take whatever abuse is thrown her way just so she doesn't lose her job by ending the interview? Sounds like all the bimbos who kept their mouths shut about Harvey Weinstein all those years ago, just to save their careers.

Jane was not an employee or in any way under the control of Simmons. That’s why there is no harassment claim...they go for battery.
I wonder if there are bruises or cuts.
But you have to get a DA to buy in. Then of course you have to deal with the famous person shell. A lot of DAs just don’t want to go after famous people, bad for votes. Heck for all we know she tried that route and got rejected.
No, YOU’RE the one saying she should sit and take whatever abuse is thrown her way. I’m saying leaving the interview would have generated consequences. Why should she risk losing her job because Gene is an ass? They aren’t bimbos, they’re people put in bad circumstances, made worse by evil shrews who insist they’re bimbos just because some guys are assholes.

Agree. It's gotten absurd and it's getting to the point that the entire #MeToo movement is going to get seriously mocked and ridiculed right out of existence.
The fact that the charges being leveled against Gene Simmons here include "unwanted sexual advances" which is so loose it could mean anything from "he asked me out" to "he said he wanted to sleep with me" just really hits to the point of how ridiculous this is quickly all becoming.
