Porn star August Ames was found dead of an apparent suicide Wednesday, one day after the adult actress was apparently bullied by social justice warriors on social media for explaining she would not perform in scenes alongside male actors who also perform in gay porn, due to health concerns.
Ames, whose real name is Mercedes Grabowski, “died of asphyxia due to hanging” in what has been ruled as a suicide, according to Ventura County, California officials. She was 23 years old.
Grabowski was bullied on Twitter after she announced her refusal to do porn scenes with gay porn actors, citing what she claimed was a higher likelihood of contracting HIV.
Users quickly called Grabowski, who was bisexual, “homophobic” for her remarks, prompting the actress to further explain.
“NOT homophobic. Most girls don’t shoot with guys who have shot gay porn, for safety,” Grabowski proclaimed. “That’s just how it is with me. I’m not putting my body at risk, i don’t know what they do in their private lives.”

We had problems with one of our daughters on Facebook when she was 12. It took forever to get her account closed, because there’s a two-week waiting period to cancel, and she managed to get on it, somehow, in the period, more than once.
They make it as hard as possible to protect your children or enforce reasonable hours on your young adults. My husband set our router to shut off from like midnight to five a.m., and the ISP thought it was a mistake and kept rebooting the router and zotting the settings or something.
They’re like drug pushers. “We’re not doing anything wrong - just tell your kids to say NO!” and then when you try to control it, you CAN’T without going no-internet-ever.

Though I thoroughly agree that unprotected gay sex is dangerous to ones health ... I have to say that suicide is probably more so
Children do commit suicide by hanging themselves, and I’d say she was about at the (abused) child level.
It’s more about money than tolerance. The left’s willingness to say anything to justify abortion is due to the money they get from planned parenthood, etc..
Same goes for gay stuff. You can bet there’s at least one gay billionaire out there ponying up heavy, hence the gay push.
There is no consistency other than they say what suits them at the moment.

A fair number of the men in porn are (like the women) in it for the money or to escape a life situation that was (to them) worse than doing porn.
It will be mostly the directors and producers harassing her. And her own agent if she has one. The people who stand to make the most money.

I’ll give you a hypothetical. Let’s say there’s a couple with kids who’re on FB and the husband is involved in some very delicate employment negotiations and the wife shares some confidential stories about her boss with while the kids are eagerly listening to those frightfully sensitive conversations. Then the little darlings, to show how cool they are, promptly disclose everything to the whole world over FB. BANG! Goes their livelihood.
Also, as a retired lawyer, the first thing I’d do to a client’s adversary would be go to that person’s social media, and his kid’s just to see what silver bullets might just be lying around
There are always the ‘exceptions to the rule’, but it is rare for women who have MONEY, who are ATTRACTIVE, and who WANT TO LIVE (don’t want to get HIV/AIDS) to kill themselves by hanging.
