Okay, I got a few good ONLINE Black Friday deals. I love buying online because you are crazy if you think ol' PJ is going to fight the crazed crowds in the stores.
Anyway, even though I got some good deals ONLINE, I have this gnawing fear that I missed out on some even better deals. Therefore if you found some good ONLINE Black Friday deals still active, please post them here. If they aren't easy to find, then please provide the links if possible.
Okay, I'll start out with my very obvious Black Friday buys. Of course, this means I purchased both the Amazon Echo Dot for $29.99, the Amazon Fire Stick for $24.99, and the Fire7 Tablet for $29.99. I already have the Echo Dot and the Fire Stick but I need another Fire Stick for my second TV (and then CUT my cable TV forever) and the Echo Dot as a gift for my mother. The Tablet I can use for reading Kindle books. To find all those deals just go to Amazon.Com and you will see them featured at top of the page.
Those were all too obvious buys but how about the $7.99 Cooks 12-cup programmable coffee maker from JCPenney? Okay, it is on sale for $19.99 but there is a $12 rebate making the final price just $7.99. I used to be skeptical about rebates but that pertained to mail-in rebates. Online rebates such as this one are reliable. I don't actually need a coffee maker right now but it inevitable that my current coffee maker will break down within the next couple of years and I want a spare coffee maker on hand when that day arrives.
You can find details on how to get not only this coffee maker but other Cooks appliances online for just $7.99 from JCPenney at the KRAZY COUPON LADY.
THANX! I just printed out that Ace Hardware coupon but right now am going to their website because I believe I can get that deal online using Promo Code FRI2017.
aka buying ONLINE.
Yeah, because you won't be able to bring it home in a car. We even had trouble using a mini-van to bring home a 50" TV. So in the future it will definitely be via delivery only.
That’s the one I got.
Hmmmm.... Every time I click on an item at Ace for in-store delivery I keep getting a “Service Unavailable” message. Maybe they want me to physically show up at Ace Hardware but the nearest one is about 7 miles away.
“I know wrist watches are old school”
I’m looking for a wrist watch that winds. I have a Mickey Mouse watch from the ‘70s which is my emergency watch when my battery watches’ batteries die. Just wind it, set it, and go. Still keeps perfect time.
That’s the WalMart savings catcher feature. It returned a good amount of money to us when we were using it. Unfortunately, the Walmart we use no longer supports savings catcher.
I’ll try out ebates. That sounds like a nice site.
Hey, thanks for the Black Friday gun deals! Lots of big boy toys!
Found this Plano Storage Locker in OD green for $19.99 with free shipping - https://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/plano%C2%AE-storage-locker#repChildCatid=1584797 I’ve seen it for about $40 at Bass Pro.
All-Clad Ltd., of which I own 2 pcs for over 30 years, is very high quality. This seems like a steal to me f you need a set of pans that will last.
10 piece set, $699 (56% off) plus bonus roasting pan

Flame throwers? LOL! Does it work on zombies?
I am going to try that and if Ace Hardware doesn't give me a discount, I will do the same thing at Home Depot where the same Weber Grill is also $79 and see if they offer me a discount.
I didn’t see a Ma Duce on the site. What’s up with that?

I looked for TVs in the 32-40” range last night and this morning but I don’t see any really great deals. 40% is about the best I saw but most were 20-25%. Can find deals like that all year. All the best deals were either no name brands, out of stock, in-store only(ain’t gunndo it), 720p as opposed to 1080p/4k or smart TVs or built in dvd player, neither of which I want.
Will try again on cyber Monday and keep checking throughout Dec. We don’t really do the commercialized Christmas. Can’t afford it anyway so we get one thing that we all can enjoy or we all get the same/similar things. Two years ago it was a laptop for each of us. Used thinkpads from ebay but bigger and faster than what we had. So it doesn’t really matter if it happens by Dec. 25th. Sometimes it doesn’t happen til spring. Last year it was a sound bar w/sub-woofer. Got one for a 32-40” TV so now I’m trying to find a TV to match. We have an older 26”, although it’s 1080p. We had to buy new tires last month which put a damper on things but I suppose that’s sort of a family gift. LOL Durn gravel roads.
Yup, amazon has good deals on all their own stuff. Fire this and kindle that. Most other things aren’t much better of a deal than you can find throughout the year.
Bestbuy is mostly in-store. Walmart is mixed, some in-store, some shippable, bunch of out of stock and no names.
Couple of the best, true, spirit of Christmas, Christmas’.
One year we were at a thrift store, 2 weeks before Christmas, buying used windows,(we were living in a farm house that hadn’t been lived in for 30 years) loading them on the roof of a $400 escort wagon, 30 degrees with 30 mph winds, went to get in the car and some woman walked over to my wife, stuck something in her hand and said ‘you have a Merry Christmas maam’. The sun was behind the woman so all my wife saw was a silhouette and then she was gone. It was $40. The wife cried half way home.
Second year after we bought this property, a guy stopped by and pulled a huge ham and 11 dozen fresh farm eggs out of the back of the truck and gave them to us along with a card. Asked him his name and he said just call me Pilgrim. He left, we went inside, open the card and it had $200 in it. The wife balled and I shed a few tears myself.
Maybe we’ll put off the TV ‘til spring and make someone cry this year instead.
We’ve got steady income and have actually had a productive year. Lot’s of improvements around the homestead.
Wait until closer to Super Bowl to buy a TV. The sale prices are comparable to Black Friday.
Not only that, but Black Friday must be racist, suggesting that our brothers (and sisters, of course) of the darker hue are too cheap to pay regular prices. /sarc
