Denmark and other countries are determined to see through the 2015 Paris climate agreement, Danish Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen said as environment ministers from 190 countries met in the German city of Bonn on Tuesday at the UNs COP23 climate summit.
Much of the discussion at the summit will revolve around US President Donald Trumps announcement earlier this year that his country which the worlds second-largest carbon dioxide emissions would pull out of the December 2015 agreement.
But other countries are determined to see the agreement through, regardless of the message sent by the United States, according to Danish PM Rasmussen.
World society must move on after the American announcement about the Paris Agreement. We must not forget that there are still 190 countries that believe the future of the planet is worth fighting for, Rasmussen said ahead of the summit via a written statement.
Thats why we at COP23 must sent a unified and clear message that the rest of the world supports the Paris Agreement, and that conversion to green energy cannot be stopped, the PM continued.

Well they can continue if they want but not with our money.
“Denmark and other countries are determined to see through the 2015 Paris climate agreement, “
Nothing can deter a lunatic from his mission.
Without US cash, let's see how long their "fight" will last.
Translation- “Lets see who else we can rob the money from”
“...Without US cash...”
We think the future of our economy is worth fighting for, while we improve the environment.
Won’t stop it but will, thank GOD, stop us from having to pay for it.
Yes, but it WILL stop our money going to finance a fake, unscientific, unproven fraud boondoggle power grab.
Good...let the Euroweenies pay.
Well, his middle name appears to be a variation of Loki, so maybe he is joking.

So which country is number 1? India, China or Russia? Inquiring minds want to know.
You give your money to the third world grifters.
These chumps are under existential threat from muslims and they worry about a nontoxic 100% certified organic naturally occurring gas.
Yep, it's all a Kabuki act of defiance by the left wingnuts. Without US cash to redistribute it's all a joke. However, I will say this, I do think they are trying to bide their time in hopes that the US brings back an Obama type in 2020.
The US is the only country paying into the Paris slushfund. Walking away is the best thing we can do.
IIRC, Obama already gave them a sh**load of money.
They are not our concern. We must do what is best for US!
Go for it, Lars.
You won’t last a year without US backing/funds.
