As the major media organs are forced acknowledge the mountains of evidence of corruption in the FBI, Obama administration, DNC, Clinton foundation and MSM will there be a fall guy? What better patsy than Bill and Hill? If the left can turn on a dime and bury Weinstein why not sacrifice the Clintons? It doesn't take much skill to connect the Clintons to every scandal. Any rat problem is absolved by blaming the "gang of two".
O and valjar need to pay.
This could be the first sign that the MSM and Dims are ready to throw the Clintons under the bus.
...especially if they want any chance of winning in 2020.
...oh and the FBI might start to go after Pederasta.

I dismissed this question because Hillary will fire both barrels and every dirty secret she knows at anyone who crosses her BUT I hadn't considered the "Obama Vs Clinton" tug of war in the Dem party. Plausible. Also, dems need some way to get Hillary off the stage, maybe this is the giant hook coming out.
You forget the Clintons are the first ones to show there is NOT honor among thieves. They’ll take everyone down with them and those you think who might give up the Clintons know they’ll go down, too.
I think the story broke because they’re trying to get ahead of the issue and control the narrative.
Reading the original WoPo article there’s declarative statement saying the ‘Campaign’ meaning Hillary didn’t know. That’s the way they’re going with this. For the umpteenth time Hillary is going to stonewall, deny, lie then slow walk back each lie as reveals happen.
Not to mention it may be an attempt to moot the subpoena on the research firm’s bank account. Give the judge (an obama zealot) a foundation to rule in the research firms favor.

The problem is that Obama new about all this according to the witness that is trying to appear before Congress. This will go a lot further than Hillary although she may be the main player.
I'll believe it when I see it, but not before. I believe they'll run as much cover for them as possible. With this story they can claim they covered it, but not print another word about it. It's their M.O.

The fear of everyone in Washington, dem and rino, was that Bill and Hillary would fall because they have the dirt on everyone. They take a huge. number of players down with them.....there is no way they go alone. I am surprised there have not been more retirements, some accidents and heart attacks of the bigger players, hoping this would all go away for the rest of the herd.

One of the likely motivation’s for what appears to be Mueller getting into the Podesta’s linkage to the Russians, is to create illusion - to dissuage Congress and or the JD to NOT APPOINT a true Independent Counsel !
There are many reasons for this illusion, not the least of which would be Mueller himself being indicted for his ACTULL ROLL in the cover up of “Pay for Play” with our national security involving Uranium One, the illegal smuggling of processed uranium out of the US, and the pay back to the Clintons to the tune of at least $145,000,000 dollars.
Additionally, the illegal and illicit server scandal was going on full bore during all of this!
As well, remember Obama’s statement to Russian President Medvedev...
It is possible and even likely Obama’s statement caught on hot mic, telling Medvedev he (Obama) would have more flexibility after the election, was itself involved with the treasoness Uranium One deal one way or another, if not other illegal weapons technology transfer.
Think Skolkovo. The money, efforts, and tech transfer, involved with Skolkovo make the illegal Uranium One scandal pail in comparison. Even while no one is speaking of it.
Skolkovo involved a massive transfer of dual purpose technology and cooperation at the highest levels! This included cooperation with the agencies tasked with our cyber security!
They can likely find a whole lot of Paedocurruption with Podesta. I bet he is the top procurer and organizer.
Obama is not going to come out untouched unless there is a deal for him to retire permanently to Farouk’s old digs on the Riviera.
