Hope this winds up flopping.

It looks somewhat interesting but not enough to blow money on tickets, I’ll rent the DV some weeks from now.

Clooney was pretty good in Burn After Reading.

In that movie, he played a man who was incredibly stupid and vain, an utter zero. He ends up getting arrested while trying to escape to Venezuela, which was his choice because it has no extradition treaty with the United States.

“O Brother, Where Art Thou?” was good. That’s it.

May be time for a Killer Tomatoes franchise reboot?

It is my sincere hope that the George Clooney’s of the world will go away and that we will end up with artists rather than hacks who kiss the right butts and let it be known that they hold all the “right” opinions.

While the Hollywood bubble, which includes the lackey entertainment media, likes to pretend Clooney is a Big Star, moviegoers disagree, most especially when it comes to the films he directs.

He's a movie star who doesn't make any good movies. Oh he has been good in a couple of Coen brothers flicks. And I really liked Out of Sight, but that was based on an Elmore Leonard book and directed by Stephen Soderbergh. Hard to screw that up.

Another problem for Clooney is that over a 21-year film career that began in 1996 with Miramax’s From Dusk Till Dawn...

FWIW, I really liked From Dusk Till Dawn.

BTW, the reviews have so far been overwhelmingly negative.

Clooney just did an interview on WGN TV in Chicago promoting this turkey. The interview was nothing but soft ball questions that were probably written by his publicity machine. Nothing at all about his good buddy Harvey...

Well “The Peacemaker” was okay for an action film.

Clooney said when he was told he had the part in From Dusk To Dawn he said *I’m not going to have to have sex with a goat, am I?” Sounds like he knew all about giving sex for work.

I’m waiting for all the “MeToo” hashtags of guys who have been humped ‘n’ dumped by gold-digging wenches on their stone-hearted march to the top.

Hahahaha.

Yeah, that’s gonna happen...

Sanctimonious lecturing is definitely NOT my idea of “entertainment”. Making a “socially conscious” movie about “white privilege”? Thanks, I’ll pass.

I liked “Mnuments Men” but I will watch anything that has to do with WWII history.

I even suffered through that stupid Brad Pitt movie “Fury”! About a WWII Tank crew.
