Clooney was pretty good in Burn After Reading.

In that movie, he played a man who was incredibly stupid and vain, an utter zero. He ends up getting arrested while trying to escape to Venezuela, which was his choice because it has no extradition treaty with the United States.

My favorite Clooney movie and performance is “Intolerable Cruelty,” rom-com with Catherine Zeta Jones at the peak of her powers.

I absolutely loved that movie.

One of the few comedies I re-watch.
