no link, just an observation.... open to correction...BUT.
While October has been hyped in the media as a "pink" month, standing for breast cancer research, have you noticed that THIS year, the Susan G Komen Foundation--big Planned Parenthood funders--are NOT mentioned prominently?
I wonder if SGK is still behind these efforts, but are choosing to mute its involvement.
Recall a few years back many of us chose to STOP donating to Komen when the organization BACKTRACKED on a pledge to stop giving money to the abortion mills.
The Komen Foundation has been widely exposed by a movie on Netflix called ‘What the Health’.
a friend of mine watched it and went vegan.
I never thought about this month...usually I hear about them in October....not this year...
Kroger asks if you want to donate to the Komen foundation. I flat out tell them HELL NO!
I did one Komen “walk” one year and most of the participants that I was aware of were big time libs. If it were not so sad in its hypocritical irony ,it would be comical. The pink mafia are a bunch of scammers.
Whoa, had no idea. Thank you for the info. We’ll drop unused clothing donations at a different bin now.
I knew someone who did the Susan G. Komen walk, the 60 mile 3 day walk. It was a friend of the family. She walked and got sponsors and pledges. But, the people at Komen required walkers to donate a certain amount, and if they couldn’t raise the money from sponsors, they required the walkers to make up the difference in donations.
I can’t speak to whatever else Komen does with the money, but, they do seem focused on maximizing the money flow, even to the point of compelling the walkers/supporters to give more from their own pockets
I walked in the first SGK walk, back in 1993 LA. I haven’t participated since. There has been an established link between having an abortion and having breast cancer. AND the SGK Foundation STILL supports Planned Parenthood. If Libs didn’t exhibit hypocrisy, they wouldn’t have any ‘character’ traits at all.
Industrial charities rise, industrial charities fall. Komen’s been on the way down for years. Eventually people just get tired of one group.
My sister-in-law was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer. Her husband, my brother, who makes his living at research, discovered that Komen does not support research, just examinations or something. I have no idea where all that money goes/went. But I do know that my brother is violently anti-Komen.
I saw a breast cancer ad on TV by Susan G Komen Foundation, just yesterday.
a friend of mine watched it and went vegan.

I never NEVER thought I would... but I’m very tempted and have changed my meat eating habits drastically.
Interesting that no one with this foundation, or the Diabetes Association, or the Heart Assoc. wanted to discuss diet, and yet they post suggested foods on their website and clearly encourage meats and processed meats. Then you ‘follow the money’ to see who all their BIG donors are... a lot of meat companies. What the Health was a big eye opener for me.
Planned Parenthood and its funders are doing their part by nipping breast cancer in the bud. Anyone they abort will never get the disease.
