So far as I am concerned, there is the highest doubt that SCP is the shooter as this article and just about everyone else in the media seems to be assuming now. This is because of the doctored timeline that LE initially gave out placing SCP in the room after the outdoor shooting and shooting at Campos before shooting himself.
The doctored timeline could well have been used IMHO by LE to plant the notion that SCP was the shooter and was alone— i.e., a so-called “lone nut.”
Tucker Carson had some SS agent on this evening and both Tucker and the agent blissfully made the presumption that SCP was the shooter when there is no evidence that I am aware of that has been made public that SCP was even alive when Campos stumbled into the room.
The alternative scenario is that SCP is a patsy and was executed before or during the shootings. His body was placed in the room to provide a convenient story for the public to focus on while the trail of the real perps grows colder by the hour.
The patsy conjecture explains why there is a problem with the lack of motive. Under the patsy conjecture there is a lack of motive because SCP was in fact not the shooter.
The wire transfer to SCP's girlfriend is at best circumstantial evidence and at worst totally irrelevant or planted.
LE seems to me now about thoroughly discredited as a legit source of info on the mass murder.
A person in the USA is innocent until proven guilty. SCP will never get a trial to prove his guilt. SCP is at most a suspect and will forever be at most a suspect.
What am I missing?
I did not say I necessarily believe that SCP did any of that given the information supplied by LV LE to date.
Stripped down to essentials, what they have shown so far is a dead body in the room and a shooting.
There is no information presented that SCP was alive when the shooting occured.
The timeline was modified, by LE, with the result that LE misled the public to believe that only SCP could have fired on the concertgoers.
SCP had no criminal record before now.
The LE seems actively trying to help frame a dead guy who cannot defend himself as the one and only perp.
That is wierd.
No one seems to be considering the possibilities of second or alternate shooters, which is spooky...
There is no motive for SCP which is super spooky and is probably a red flag of some sort that something is deeply wrong with the investigation.
The doctored timeline may be an early warning of someone clumsily trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.
That being said I wouldn't put it past the Deep State or their foot soldiers, the FBI.
If everything is on the up and up, where is this guy Campos?
At least he should have been seen by someone, somewhere. And there should be a photo of him.

I think Campos exists but for reasons yet to be fully explained, people are hiding him from public view. That takes a lot of effort. So Campos has something to tell but is not being allowed to tell it. The alternatives are that there is no such person or else his injuries are much worse than we have been told so far.
Will the FBI ever admit that the Vegas massacre was the result of federal law enforcement posing as ISIS extremists to interdict Paddock, but that they lost control of the plan and the terrorist? It’s happened before (remember Fast and Furious?) It certainly would explain why Paddock planned, but never executed the attacks on at least 2 other music concerts prior to Vegas. His government handlers posing as ISIS managed to shut him down on those planned attacks by whatever excuse (not the right time or place for your martyrdom, brother?). Like coitus interruptus, it only served to enrage Paddock to not carry out those attacks. When it came time for Vegas, he may have decided not to be deterred again. Like a lot of other people, I don’t believe for a minute that he didn’t have help and that no one had foreknowledge of Paddock’s plans. I seem to be the only one, however, who thinks his “helpers” were the incompetent Feds who lost control of their target. I do wonder if Sheriff Lombardo suspected this, as well, when he said in one press briefing that he believed Paddock was the lone shooter, but not acting alone.
The Feds posing as ISIS is a common and ongoing tactic in the war on terror, but it’s a dangerous game. In this instance, I think they lost that game and are now doing everything they can to cover it up. I’m sure they feel justified doing so, covered by the excuse that they have other interdiction schemes ongoing that would be jeopardized if they were forthcoming about how they dropped the ball on Vegas.
Interesting. Personally, I do not feel that I have enough info at this time to make a guess one way or another on fed involvement. On one hand, it seems unlikely; however, the unlikely aspects of the case also seem to argue for the possibility of an unlikely but true explanation. I anticipate that there may be other unlikely but theoretically possible explanations.
One thing that troubles me is the rifle across SCP’s body after the “suicide.” How was SCP holding a rifle at the same time he was allegedly holding a handgun when he used the handgun to commit suicide?
I do not think we have enough information to conclude that SCP committed suicide at all.
OK... I guess SCP could have been a relatively ordinary though introverted nerd who one day was approached by the feds in need of a patsy. The feds convinced SCP to do some stuff such as shop for and/or buy some guns in public. The feds tell him it is dangerous duty and give him lots of money. Maybe or maybe not, he takes some money and maybe or maybe not wires it to his GF.
That is the last reasonably reliable (independent of LE) info we have on SCP, interspersed with guesswork supporting the patsy conjecture.
For the remainder, someone else does it, executing SCP (probably before the start of the concertgoer shootings) and leaves before LE arrives.
This would explain the lack of motive for SCP. If there is no big problem with it, then everything we are being bombarded with by LE and the media is so much BS and propaganda.
I’d like to call out the LV Sheriff and Undersheriff at this point and ask them why they are ignoring this scenario.
That is, Las Vegas Sheriff Joseph Lombardo in particular.
Why was the doctored (inaccurate) timeline released
Why was it not corrected immediately?
Where is Jesus Campos? Who is Jesus Campos? Why is he being kept out of sight?
Why is there no video of SCP being shown to the public if the guy was staying there for several days?
Why is there a check in time discrepancy?
Are the receipts showing two or more occupants real?
Why all the secrecy about the investigation?
Why has no motive turned up for SCP? Given the new timeline why should anyone believe anything the Sheriff has to say, much less that they only have a single suspect and he is conveniently dead?
How does a guy commit suicide with a handgun and leave a rifle across his legs after dying and falling to the ground?
I can think of 58 or 59 reasons why the public has a right to know.

I don’t have a problem with that - he could have been sitting down with the rifle, waiting for SWAT to come through the door and shoot them. Then, after waiting and thinking, put down the rifle, picked up the gun and shot himself through the mouth.
HOWEVER - The rifle is pointed in the direction of the windows - but he isn’t near the window that is broken. He is in an okay spot to fire on the SWAT team as they enter - and can cover both the main door and the door to the adjoining room.
The angle of the rifle across his body would also seem to indicate that he is left handed. If he is right-handed - then I would agree that it is curious. Note - the pen is to the left of the note paper - maybe left handed?
The lack of video is amazing. Consider that Joran Van Der Sloot (Natalie Holloway’s killer) was convicted of another murder because of HOTEL HALLWAY VIDEO in a Lima, Peru hotel. A hotel in Lima has that basic security video but a major Las Vegas hotel does not?

Why are so many people mainly suspecting wrongdoing by the feds, when the mass murder was committed in Las Vegas? It happened in Las Vegas, and according to the story, there were extreme amounts of money transferred.
Do we believe that Paddock netted $5 million dollars in one year from gambling and similarly enormous sums of money in other years? No. Only people who believe flamboyant con artists would believe that, and only career criminals would try to fool outsiders with such a story. What kind of organization would use Hollywood-like drama to intimidate victims and witnesses?
Do we believe that the feds control security-related conditions and business records in Las Vegas businesses? No.
Do the feds control local governments? No. Influential (wealthy) local constituents do.

But there’s a difference. In chapter 1, the pasty was shot AFTER the horrific crime was committed. In Vegas, I suspect this one happened before hand, i.e., the accused may have been the first casualty.

Meetings with unsavory weapons buyers. Paddock was dealing in illegal weapons and his “customer” turned the meeting into a killing spree. My scenario is that Paddock was dead before the shooting started.
People have every right not to believe the canned responses and bizarre story line which has been presented. Many have been conditioned not to believe or trust the official fake news reports.
1. Historically, the truth has been obscured and false scenarios have been sold my either local or federal LEO on too many occasions- for decades.
2. Major Red Flag #1 - The release of an obscure photo of the alleged killer. If they were really sure SCP “was their guy” and wanted immediate help as to possible accomplices, timeline, and motive, than they would have released a clear photo ASAP.
His DMV photo should have been splashed on the news with the eyes OPEN along with his weight, height and build. Instead, they provided a crappy shut-eye’d old FB photo with his gf blocked out. That ran for the initial 2-3 days.
3. Red flag #2 - lack of video footage release. Of course they have tons of it. Again, the public, primarily casino & hotel guests, could be helping to ID who he had been with the week he stayed at Mandalay Bay. They have cameras everywhere to defend them from bogus slip/fall lawsuits. They claim that it doesn’t exist or that it was not released in order not to scare off his accomplices. Seriously, any accomplices are thousands of miles away or long dead by now.
4. Red Flag #3 - changing datelines. SCP checked into the Mandalay on either the 25th or the 27th, it can’t be both. Security guard was shot either before or after the shooting rampage. These are concrete facts that should not be rotating to support an official story line.
And no one really watches or cares what you drag up to your room, short of a live elephant or an obvious dead girl. Pushing the heavy cart would be the greater challenge. Again, SCP could have used two carts and tipped the bellman. He has a suite, they have no idea if he has 1 or 6 people joining him. And again, there would be a video of him or someone else making that trip upstairs.
If SCP is a guy that washes money, that puts him in the underworld. So he is owned three ways. First, he’s controlled by whom he acts for in order to launder their millions. Secondly, the casinos record this illegal activity and could blow the whistle at any time. Third, the IRS & federal law enforcement can prosecute him for these illegal transfers of cash. They indict people for money laundering all the time.
Therefore, he has great exposure and could be cornered, bribed, or coerced to participate in some other unrelated nefarious plot or activity. He came, he played and he ultimately lost. It stands to reason that Steve was used as a sucker.

True. Who knows how many guns he really had or which ones he actually purchased.
Theoretically, LEO could deliver weapons from the last gun- buy-back program and stack them up in his basement. They claim the perp had an arsenal. SCP is too darn dead to refute the claim. Case closed.
If SCP were ready to commit suicide, his last day would have been much different.
