Interesting. Personally, I do not feel that I have enough info at this time to make a guess one way or another on fed involvement. On one hand, it seems unlikely; however, the unlikely aspects of the case also seem to argue for the possibility of an unlikely but true explanation. I anticipate that there may be other unlikely but theoretically possible explanations.
One thing that troubles me is the rifle across SCP’s body after the “suicide.” How was SCP holding a rifle at the same time he was allegedly holding a handgun when he used the handgun to commit suicide?
I do not think we have enough information to conclude that SCP committed suicide at all.
OK... I guess SCP could have been a relatively ordinary though introverted nerd who one day was approached by the feds in need of a patsy. The feds convinced SCP to do some stuff such as shop for and/or buy some guns in public. The feds tell him it is dangerous duty and give him lots of money. Maybe or maybe not, he takes some money and maybe or maybe not wires it to his GF.
That is the last reasonably reliable (independent of LE) info we have on SCP, interspersed with guesswork supporting the patsy conjecture.
For the remainder, someone else does it, executing SCP (probably before the start of the concertgoer shootings) and leaves before LE arrives.
This would explain the lack of motive for SCP. If there is no big problem with it, then everything we are being bombarded with by LE and the media is so much BS and propaganda.
I’d like to call out the LV Sheriff and Undersheriff at this point and ask them why they are ignoring this scenario.
That is, Las Vegas Sheriff Joseph Lombardo in particular.
Why was the doctored (inaccurate) timeline released
Why was it not corrected immediately?
Where is Jesus Campos? Who is Jesus Campos? Why is he being kept out of sight?
Why is there no video of SCP being shown to the public if the guy was staying there for several days?
Why is there a check in time discrepancy?
Are the receipts showing two or more occupants real?
Why all the secrecy about the investigation?
Why has no motive turned up for SCP? Given the new timeline why should anyone believe anything the Sheriff has to say, much less that they only have a single suspect and he is conveniently dead?
How does a guy commit suicide with a handgun and leave a rifle across his legs after dying and falling to the ground?
I can think of 58 or 59 reasons why the public has a right to know.

I don’t have a problem with that - he could have been sitting down with the rifle, waiting for SWAT to come through the door and shoot them. Then, after waiting and thinking, put down the rifle, picked up the gun and shot himself through the mouth.
HOWEVER - The rifle is pointed in the direction of the windows - but he isn’t near the window that is broken. He is in an okay spot to fire on the SWAT team as they enter - and can cover both the main door and the door to the adjoining room.
The angle of the rifle across his body would also seem to indicate that he is left handed. If he is right-handed - then I would agree that it is curious. Note - the pen is to the left of the note paper - maybe left handed?
People have every right not to believe the canned responses and bizarre story line which has been presented. Many have been conditioned not to believe or trust the official fake news reports.
1. Historically, the truth has been obscured and false scenarios have been sold my either local or federal LEO on too many occasions- for decades.
2. Major Red Flag #1 - The release of an obscure photo of the alleged killer. If they were really sure SCP “was their guy” and wanted immediate help as to possible accomplices, timeline, and motive, than they would have released a clear photo ASAP.
His DMV photo should have been splashed on the news with the eyes OPEN along with his weight, height and build. Instead, they provided a crappy shut-eye’d old FB photo with his gf blocked out. That ran for the initial 2-3 days.
3. Red flag #2 - lack of video footage release. Of course they have tons of it. Again, the public, primarily casino & hotel guests, could be helping to ID who he had been with the week he stayed at Mandalay Bay. They have cameras everywhere to defend them from bogus slip/fall lawsuits. They claim that it doesn’t exist or that it was not released in order not to scare off his accomplices. Seriously, any accomplices are thousands of miles away or long dead by now.
4. Red Flag #3 - changing datelines. SCP checked into the Mandalay on either the 25th or the 27th, it can’t be both. Security guard was shot either before or after the shooting rampage. These are concrete facts that should not be rotating to support an official story line.
And no one really watches or cares what you drag up to your room, short of a live elephant or an obvious dead girl. Pushing the heavy cart would be the greater challenge. Again, SCP could have used two carts and tipped the bellman. He has a suite, they have no idea if he has 1 or 6 people joining him. And again, there would be a video of him or someone else making that trip upstairs.
If SCP is a guy that washes money, that puts him in the underworld. So he is owned three ways. First, he’s controlled by whom he acts for in order to launder their millions. Secondly, the casinos record this illegal activity and could blow the whistle at any time. Third, the IRS & federal law enforcement can prosecute him for these illegal transfers of cash. They indict people for money laundering all the time.
Therefore, he has great exposure and could be cornered, bribed, or coerced to participate in some other unrelated nefarious plot or activity. He came, he played and he ultimately lost. It stands to reason that Steve was used as a sucker.
