'Megyn Kelly Today' may still be finding its footing, but the show's host already seems committed to at least one ongoing segment. Megyn managed to blunder her exchange with a living legend for the second time in two weeks on Tuesday when she welcomed NBC News veteran Tom Brokaw on the program.

I said last year by 2018 she will be hosting the Home Shopping Network. I think she may get there faster than I thought.
Brokaw was on one of the other propaganda shows drooling and babbling on about how the shooting should be politicized, as if his inane, old-coot style blathering was somehow more weighty than anything else.
Thank you. Cutting off an old ignoramus like Brokaw might have been the first step on her road to redemption, if you ax me.
Sorry, Tom, but a hard break is a hard break. I guess it has no respect even for an “icon” such as yourself....But you helped create the monster, didn’t you?
Not about to watch the whole segment just to see Megyn abruptly put a sock in Tom’s mouth.
Where is a simple version of the sock moment?
Her reverent, quiet tone was quite new to hear. Emoting is very important to NBC liberals, more so than hard facts. Megyn and her authenticity is confusing right now, after years of never being seen as a cuddle bear, or a wilted violet.
I can see her fitting in well in her new job on on Access Hollywood or TMZ. :)
“Living legend” to the socialist press. Maybe Megyn got one thing right.
my retinas are still recovering from seeing maybe 4 minutes of a Me-gyn interview this morning. It was horrible.
She basically read each question off a card, and then giggled uncomfortably when interviewee (insufferable Russell Brand) quit talking long enough to take a breath. No playful repartee, no interaction. High school yearbook staff could have conducted an interview with similar level of skill.
Then, the fake applause soundtrack was so loud you couldn’t even hear what she was saying to lead off into the commercial. That was probably a plus, although certainly unintended by NBC producers.
Brokaw is about as slimy a “journolist” as they come. However, he sucked up big time to the greatest generation, thereby earning a good bit of patriotic cover. He is really a dipwad due to his incessant liberal pontificating.
Mega Smelly will soon be teaching middle schoolers journalism in her new teaching job. Maybe Tom Blowhard will be the principal.
In the end she’s laughing all the way to the bank........
Spot on! Brokaw has a long track record as a propagandist for the Left. Back in 1995, the Republicans had majorities in both the House and Senate. His attacks were well crafted to seem reasonable and convincing to the public. Beneath the veneer was a Marxist anti-Capitalist bias so prevalent with the Lame Stream Media then as well as now.
The 1995 Republican Revolution activated Lefty broadcast networks (and other media outlets) to go on a rampage, savaging the Republican threat on their monopoly of power. Negative spin against the Republicans was the top of the news every night. NBC Nightly News anchor Tom Brokaw (along with now deceased Peter Jennings) was the head of the pack. He scoffed at the GOP’s Contract with America:
“It is long on promises, but short on sound premises.”
And this news exchange,
BROKAW: “Speaker Gingrich likes to compare his successes with those of historic changes in the past: FDR’s New Deal legislative triumphs of 1933. LBJ’s Great Society, 1965. And Ronald Reagan’s tax cuts in 1981. But it is still unclear just how much more of Gingrich’s contract will get through the Senate. And President Clinton always has use of his veto pen. After the Speaker’s address this evening, the Democrats had a chance to respond.”
House Minority Leader Richard Gephardt:
” The truth is nothing in these 100 days addresses the fundamental challenge of an America that has fallen to 7th in the world in standard of living. Never has so much been done in so little time to help so few at the expense of so many. The Speaker’s rhetoric cannot conceal the reality. Franklin Roosevelt’s 100 days were for the people. These 100 days have been for the privileged.”
Does this rhetoric sound familiar?
Brokaw let the Leftist Democrats spew their anti-Republican venom with every chance he got and let his Democratic friends have the last word.
White trash
“...living legend...”?????
I’ve known living legends, and you sir are NO living legend.
Now to actually read the article.
KYPD
Tom Brokaw is a P.o.S. anyway. My first awakening to the dishonesty of the enemedia was a news segment that Brokaw ran nearly 20 years ago in which he was discussing banning semi-automatic “assault” rifles, but the background vids were of people shooting fully automatic weapons.
There is nothing graceless about cutting off a biased liar from a previous generation. They are both graceless
Shell be doing a Music of Motown infomercial with Smokey.
I agree. And she was up against a "hard break". Broadcasters all have to deal with those; Rush frequently mentions them. Besides, Blowhard Brokaw wasn't even answering the question.
“Tom is a drunk.
Period.”
I knew the prick when he was briefly at the U. Of Iowa in the late 50’s. He was an asshole at age 19. Playboy skirt chasing tennis bum type. Liked beer a little too much and only lasted a semester or so.
