The 12% who pretend they are “more likely” to watch are just shills for leftist politics. They would not watch the NFL in any case.

Then 66% are unwilling to defend the flag
They really thonk the military is a group of mercenaries of sort. On hire to defend the flag as if it’s not the job of a civilian to do so

Let them get real jobs.
I stopped cold turkey after 50 years last year and I’m never going back.

Does anyone here think that the higher-ups in the NFL just may be stupid? Businesses always make dumb decisions, some more costly than others. Market has been saturated. 2 teams in LA? They’ve already got USC. That’s plenty for their lifestyle. Throw in pink October, sideline reporters with boobs, and Mr. Kapernick, you end up with inmates running the asylum.

I have been borderline less likely to follow...
The reason is simple.
Can’t a guy have a single day of the week when he’s not flooded, drowning in politics? Makes me and many others ready to go live in the woods or something!

No, it is the presidential election and debates. Oh wait, that was last year.

Much ado about nothing. Just gives credence to the unAmerican among us.
The Media is blowing this up.

I’ve yet to see a listing of teams with members who are protesting.

34% Are Less Likely to Follow NFL Because of Protests... I can just hear the C-level NFL spokesman saying something like "that's true, and is simply a natural part of the business cycle, well in line with our long-term forecasts."

Eff the National Felon League.

As long as the Dallas Cowboys stand during the National anthem (whether by threat or patriotism) I'm watching them play.
However those teams and their liberal owners and coaches who allow their players to vomit out their personal politics unto the field of play they will not get my viewing attention and I loudly proclaim this opinion in person and on-line.
Those idiots on ESPN(and you know who they are scream”First Amendment rights)
Well, when the first player wears HIS MAGA hat or on his cleats, what will their response be?
First Amendment rights, riiiiiight?
I personally want to wave a North Virginia Army battle field.
Also known as the Confederate Battle Flag.
Or (God forebid, a Nazi salute?)

yesterday I heard “the professor” John Clayton say, on our (Seattle) ESPN radio, that the first reason for low ratings was Donald Trump. Last year it was the election diverting viewer's attention now it is waiting/watching what Trump will do and say next. Then it is the National Anthem thing.
I said “huh?”. I am not watching the NFL because I am glued to CNN etc to see what Trump is up to? Whatta stretch!
