... a tie shouldnt break up a win streak...Win streak. Like the names says, a series of wins.
A tie can break a losing streak...or a winning streak.

Two teams with Indian names? Ummm that would be a major league trigger.

And still not one pic from “Major League” when Charlie Sheen was less crazy?

The one and only good thing about Hurricane Andrew 25 years ago was that it caused the Indians to move their spring training to my town through the 90s, when I was younger, making more money, and could afford two home-plate season tickets during the Jim Thome/Omar Visquel era. Then they moved to AZ and the Devil Rays began, and I’ve been a Rays fan ever since. This year, however, the Dodgers and the Indians are behemoths and everyone else is scrambling for leftover crumbs.

When it comes to the post season, you can throw out all the records ... the hottest team wins it all.You are absolutely right. The record is impressive and historic but means nothing in the playoffs. Sometimes a team can peak too soon and even a wild card team can pick off a 100+ game winning team.

The Braves have already been eliminated from the 2017 postseason.

Well, their last 3 wins should get an asterisk because it was against the Tigers, who are basically a glorified Triple A team since they decimated their roster at the trading deadline.
To: oh8eleven
It is too early to tell which team/s will be hot going into the playoffs.
When in doubt, go with the teams with the best pitching, in this case it is also the Indians and Dodgers.
