Ya think?
It wasn’t actually stated in the story but I’m guessing that he wasn’t supposed to be there.
Carrion Luggage Ping!.................
Another stupid criminal story. Hiding a body in plain sight. Obviously, they didn't want it found, so they hid it in the middle of a city street. Right, sure. Really good hiding place.
Improper use of refrigerants?
I would not stop to open a fridge in the middle of the street , but that’s just me .
St. Peter was manning the pearly gates when up walked two men. The first man approached and gave his name.
“What happened to you?” St. Peter murmured while looking the man’s name up in the Book of Life.
“I was walking out of my new apartment building, straightening my tie after having met the cable guy to set up my apartment’s TV and internet. As I passed under a balcony, a refrigerator came crashing down from fourth floor, hitting me on the back and head. It took me a while to die, so I heard the cops and EMTs saying that some guy found his wife nude in their apartment, obviously having just been screwing some other guy, when the husband lost his head and threw the refrigerator over the railing at the first man he saw adjusting his clothing as he left the building. I guess that was me.”
St. Peter nodded thoughtfully, reading the information in the book that said the newly deceased was a good man, and Christian, having died only for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. “Welcome to Heaven.”
And the first man strolled, dreamy eyed, through the gates.
Turning to the second man, St. Peter noted that his clothes were askew, his trousers unzipped, shirt collar unbuttoned, shirt half tucked into his waist band. His belt was unfastened, hanging limply from his waist. A tie was tossed haphazardly over his shoulder.
Raising an eyebrow, St. Peter asked “And what happened to you?”
The second man cleared his throat and nervously began “Well, you won’t believe this, but here I was crouching in this refrigerator...”
(Old jokes never die!)
That's a tough one. I'd guess a helicopter came in during the night, hovered and then lowered it down and dropped it.
Imran Awan?
No big deal... I frequently find lots of dead stuff in my fridge too.
Fridgidaire-o-cide?
“Hey look, a free fridge!”
Was there a viral video of her reaction when she opened the fridge?
Why investigate? Assuming the deceased knew something about the Clinton Foundation, it is a clear case of suicide.
Who found him? Dudley Dooright looking for a “cold” one?
This is a first:a new murder case for the cold case squad. . .
Clearly a suicide . . . did he work for the gubmint?
Clearly a suicide . . . did he work for the gubmint?
Hmmmm...
Perhaps he was put into the fridge when it was still plugged in, to delay decomp and obscure the time of death.
(Recall seeing shows where the a/c is set on lowest setting to do that and give the killer an alibi?)
Someone call Monk or Jessica Fletcher...
Haven’t read all posts but I’d say this is chilling.
