Start Page seems to be the best then I see it’s powered by Google. lol Yes, but it is supposedly more private.
Google.com may be produced by leftist cult, but it is still an excellent search engine. Ixquick/StartPage gives you Google's results, but hides your IP from Google.

GAB is new substitute for Facebook and Twitter. The engineers at GAB understand that many customers are upset with Facebook and Twitter. I learned about it Dec. 2016.

I am on Gab; have been for several months now, but I have no idea how to use it.
I have the word FreeRepublic in my name or ID, and people “friend” me based on that alone, as I have zero content.
They seem like nice folks, focused on free speech but within the realm of decency.
