Matt Drudge has been in the White House an awful lot these days -- "all the time," as one senior administration official puts it. He's met with President Donald Trump, spent time with Ivanka Trump, and doled out advice to Jared Kushner.
That he'd have influence in the Trump White House should not be all that surprising. The internet news tycoon, who founded and edits the Drudge Report, the narrative-setting conservative news website, has been one of Trump's most ardent supporters since Trump announced his candidacy. He boosted him through the contentious Republican primaries, helped him defeat Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton by galvanizing the GOP base, and, for the better half of his young presidency, has stayed in sync with the White House's talking points.
But Drudge is blindly loyal to no one -- which could, ultimately, make him as dangerous to this White House as he has been helpful to it.

I’ve found FR’s search engine to be less than ideal.
I’ve had MUCH better ssuccess doing a google search of the topic and the words *Free Republic* added.
Drudge’s gig is unpredictability, with generous portions of ironic, libertarian satire stirred in. And he stirs a lot.
Trump’s gig is President of the U.S., with an amazing supply of courage and toughness. He is unconcerned with anything the nattering nabobs throw at him. He is boldly going where no one else could’ve gone.
He flicks CNN off like a gnat on his lapel.

Yup.. It’s been obvious for weeks now that Drudge is going negative on POTUS.. Drudge is a FOOL!
Drudge posts links to CNN, the Washington Post and several other liberal news rags. I think he does it to bring traffic to his site, which I don't have a problem with. That's how he makes his money, and he's been at it for a while now, and he's been successful. And frankly, I don't care about Matt's personal life. It's his business. I go his site periodically throughout the day to check on any new headlines he might post, but I rarely click on the links as I use an ad blocker, and most of them block you anyway.

I’m glad Drudge keeps bringing up the basic changes we were told to expect; Tax Cuts, O-Care repeal and replace, The Wall.
Meanwhile, a lot of positive things are getting done
with immigration reform and increased vetting of visitors.
More people are finding work available.
Certain declared landmarks are being reconsidered for possible downsizing, returning that land to the citizens.
We are making money as a country by selling our coal to distant lands. Something not done on this scale in a long time.
I’m not one who thinks a Trump supporter is never allowed to ever criticize or question any of his decisions from that point on. The fact that Drudge reminds the president of what is left to accomplish does not equal ‘attacking’, or abandoning the president.
Some of you people must worship these news types as celebrities or something bigger than life.. Fascinating gibberish.

LOL, he just posts links to others news articles, this makes him a news tycoon? He was a 7-11 clerk until someone decided to feed him the Lewinsky story without which he would have probably remained a 7-11 clerk. Now he’s mad at Trump for not getting onboard with the trannie agenda? Too bad let him go cry on Bruce Jenner’s shoulder about it, I personally don’t give a rats a$$ what he thinks.
Sigh. With all due respect, I missed in the article where it says he is mad about tranny ban. Why? Well that is because there is nothing in the article about the ban. Do you have another source for that comment you state as fact?

He may only be a news aggregator; but he does have a lot of clout as he shapes news cycles.
I think either he has been threatened or he is upset with the health care bill and Trump allowing Mueller to continue. I don’t see that it is about the ban as Drudge has been reporting more negatives much longer than a week and a half ago, when the ban was announced. I had noticed the change in his reporting and actually messaged him about it.
