Russian premier poses for his latest action shots diving and fishing on Siberian holiday

It's not the first time the outdoors adventureman has taken a break to the Siberian mountains.

The Russian premier visits the Tuva region regularly, even though it is not a big draw for many tourists.

And he usually opts to go shirtless here, as in 2009, the famous photo of him riding a horse without his top on was taken.

Political analysts say the president takes adventure holidays to show the nation that he is still healthy, strong and full of vigor.

Now wouldn't this have been a better picture for the Lazy-Boy cover picture from Newsweek?

Ridiculous pose. He looks like a bus station drunk.

“The Russian premier visits the Tuva region regularly, even though it is not a big draw for many tourists.”

Not a big draw? What about the throat-singing? I hear the best throat-singers come from Tuva; think of Huun-Huur-Tu and Sainkho Namtchylak.

And Paul “Earthquake” Pena, the first American to master that art, recorded his “Genghis Blues” album in Tuva.

Perhaps Putin will attend a throat-singing concert when he is done fishing.

I think it’s more that his body isn’t relaxed. He knows he’s posing and his photos often seem a little stiff.

I am simply stunned at how educated I become on FreeRepublic. Looked it up in Wikipedia.

Interesting that they have Northern Pike to fish for just like we do. I saw another picture with a nice Walleye.

...........one thing we can say for Putin...........compared to Hitler, and there are some comparisons, he’s smart.

Hitler took on Stalin, the U.S., Great Britain, France and others in his quest to rule the world.

Putin just pushes a little here (Ukraine) and there (Baltics) all the while promoting himself as ruler for life and piling up billions in Swiss Banks..............

Stupid headline. Putin is the President of Russian, not the Premier.

Is it just me, or does the article feel like a poor translation from a foreign language source?

Another matter for Mueller to investigate:

<>Putin and Trump taking holidays at the same time.

Clearly, this is evidence of collusion.

He’s probably dreaming of all that mineral wealth he’s going to pull out of the Arctic regions while the western world debates over how they can bring down Trump.

I define throat-singing as “growling in chords.”

Thank you for clarifying that. I thought when I started to read that I would see Medvedev’s (sp?) name. Then, when I didn’t, I assumed that I had gotten the two titles confused.

Siberia! Now there's a vacation destination I bet most of us have never even thought about!

Vlad looks like he managed to visit during the 96 hour period every year when the temperature is above freezing!

I don't know how many tourist attractions area available in Siberia, but I do know it's an area loaded with history.

I wonder of he had a chance to visit Vorkuta, I understand they're turning it into a theme park...
