To even take the call is like being asked if there is such a thing as a $100 bill.
Cashiers probably don’t like handling cash anymore because it is a liability. If anything happens to it, they are accountable for it. All card transactions are “in the system” and they don’t have to make change. Press a button and the machine tells them if the transaction is “approved”.
Yep, 60 years ago that was the standard enclosure in a kid's birthday card.

During a power outage, I was in a big box store, when the power went off...the computerised register was offline, so the cashier couldn’t make change..I told him (he was about 16) that the change will be $12.78, he did it on the calculator and got the same result and said, ‘You are correct’. My gosh, simple math...I bet he can put a condom on a cucumber better than me, thou...Stupid education system...
Guy must really be unlucky if he gets arrested at Best Buy every 12 years for using $2 bills.

I have a bunch of them. Many many years ago when I worked at a country club as a bartender one of our members liked to tip with them. I worked there 10 years and kept them all. Lol

About two years ago I wanted to go to a trade show and be able to buy something without a bank record of it..and without carrying a huge pile of cash. I bought TCs....
About 3 months later my bank announced they wouldn’t be selling them any more.
Well, that was real counterfeiting. My story was one of over-reaction to non-counterfeiting. But yours is a good story.
I think at this point we should admit the only reason $2 bills exist is because the bank teller doesn’t like someone and is hoping it causes them trouble. I don’t think I’ve seen one this century.
In Canada on the $2 coins they picture the Queen with a bare behind...

when I’m just handed my change, coins and bills together in a little bundle I stand there and count it sometimes with the salesperson/serving yelling next...but I don’t move until I’m finished...

Why you ask? Because in schools they are teaching them how to put on condoms and take the pill, or change their gender. They are not teaching them valuable skills like Math and currency!
