Rumor Of The Night In DC: Sessions To Move To Homeland Security; Rudy Gulianni To Be New AG
My Firm's Annual Tennis and Tom Collins Party | Strac6

Posted on 07/28/2017 5:57:14 PM PDT by Strac6

Am up in DC from Florida for my old firm's (I'm a retired Senior Partner) "Tennis and Tom Collins" Summer party. About 400 people here.

Please understand, as soon as something becomes official or public news in Washington, it is no longer very interesting here. DC is all about rumors and the next day's news.

For example, as soon as the stories about Monica became public on that Monday night, ("everyone" here knew the previous Friday) the really interesting stories all revolved around "would he admit it on TV and ask for forgiveness or would Hillary insist on legal ropa-dopa.

PS, Hillary won v. Bill, as she always does. She wasn't upset at all about his screwing Monica.... and all the others.... just that he got caught.... again!

Now the hot rumor tonight is that Sessions will (semi-)gracefully go to Homeland Security and Gulianni will be brought in to kick ass and take names at Justice.

Nothing to substantiate it, but it is the pervasive hot story here tonight.

P.S. A certain old Congressman's child bride is more than way too hot and way too drunk in her little white tennis shorts that end up about 2 feet above her knees. She could probably play a good game of tennis, but certain bi-lateral, plastic surgeon-installed physical attributes get in the way of every one of her backhands!

Most wives and female partners/associates are pizzed. Mrs. Strac and her friends are just laughing at all of them.

Rudy can bail out Trump for the time being. Temporary.

Don’t you mean Richard Starkey?

A few years ago my wife and I were in a movie theater and the movie (can't remember which) was set in the future and someone asked, "Who's the President in nnnn"? The answer was, "Richard Starkey". My wife and I were the only ones in the theater who laughed, apparently the only ones who knew who Richard Starkey is.

Might be a good move if Rudy is up to it.

AG would be agreasive and not have a conflict. (No need for Mueller) Anyone who has already been confirmed can be transferred into the cabinet positions.

So Perry would be available. Who else?

Trump would have to put Rudy in asa recess appointment, there is NO WAY he would get through hearings!!! Sessions would be GREAT in Homeland security and he would have a lot more power where immigration is concerned Sessions is really tough on immigration and HS would be the perfect place for him!!!

Recess appointment would be good for 18 months. Time to clear a lot of the swamp.

Still think Ted Cruz would be a great choice for either position.

” ...bride is more than way too hot “
TTIUWP!

Funny, I took a search on Google and they won’t tell nothing about the wives of Congress.

I understand the Congress is on recess for the next five weeks. Mr. Trump could do it tomorrow. He has a pen and a phone.

You wont be interested in this since you can do it yourself...but if anyone wants to read an annotated analytical version of kushners statement ..they have one up at JustSecurity from the former federal prosector who tried and won the HFT (trader) case.

Btw he worked in the same district that is handling the Firtash case.(see Manafort)

The Postman with Kevin Costner. I remembered the line as well but couldn't place it so googled it and it all came back to me. :-)
