The film adaption of Stephen King’s classic horror is only two months away and San Diego Comic-Con have been treated to some more terrifying footage.

Director Andres Muschietti introduced a couple of clips that apparently left the audience unsettled and terrified, just like the last trailer.

The filmmaker also revealed to Variety that IT Part 2 of the story will start shooting early next year and is set 30 years later with flashbacks.

Entertainment Weekly have provided a description of the horrors Pennywise the Dancing Clown inflicted in what was screened at Comic Con.

Will the movie include the pre-adolescent gang bang from the book?

Interesting story about that....

When I first read "IT" I was only 11, (which was WAY, WAY too young) but I was an avid reader (still am) and basically would read anything I could get my hands on. Years later when I was in college, somebody mentioned the scene in question. I argued that scene never happened, I had read the book and was sure I would have remembered something like that. Finally someone produced a copy of the book and proved it was in the there. The only thing I could figure is I had no older brothers or sisters and was rather sheltered when it came to sex, and at age 11 I wasn't yet interested in "girls". What happened is I simply read over the scene in question and didn't understand what was going on, just some older kids doing some strange stuff with each other that I simple dismissed. After reading the book again in my twenties I realized there A LOT going on in the book I didn't understand at age 11 (and was probably glad I didn't).

To be fair, there was a black kid in the original book. Read it like 30 years ago.

“...and is Gillian Anderson gonna show up?”

Are you waiting for the next season of, ‘The Fall’ as much as we are? Gawd! The camera LOVES that woman; she should be filmed 24/7 no matter WHAT she is doing! ;)

As Michael Corleone said, "It's strictly business."

Or as Jack Woltz said, "And a man in my position can't afford to be made to look ridiculous."

Bubba Ho-Tep: great movie, destined to be a cult classic!

I do think you are missing part of the problem by putting all the blame on the financial side of the business. The customers are getting what they want. Someone has to fill their plates.

Actually, I’ve never seen The Fall. I saw a preview and yes, it looked fabulous. No, I’m waiting for the X-files, which they start filming in August. I’m kinda into that romance between Scully and Mulder and wondering if those two are really in love.

I sound like that woman in that old 30s film, The Women, ‘Aaah, Lamour’!

Not usually like this but those two together are really the sweetest thing going on. So sick of the pessimism of politics.

It also has to do with all the ancillary income streams. A good, moderately budgeted romantic comedy, say, isn’t going to spawn video games, toys, t shirts, and theme park rides. The things that continue to bring in money after the film has disappeared from theaters.
