D’oh! Beat me by 2 minutes :-)
My favourites will always be Jon Pertwee and Tom Baker.
Whatever.
When they get around to the first megadwarf hypertransgender triracial fundamentalist monoped cannibal Dr Who sporting a new set of pronouns each episode, I may give it a watch. Until then, it’s just not progressive enough for me anymore.
She won’t last a year until the pressure for her to be replaced by a Muslim or a tranny becomes unbearable.
She was good on Broadchurch. She’s easy in the eyes too. Everything will depend on the writing though. Jury is out..
December 25, 2017 Christmas special: the Day the Doctor Who Series Died.
So they’ve finally decided to end this Dr. Who thing.
I dropped the cable tier having BBC America (a.k.a., ST:TNG Rerun Channel) last year, so I have not seen any of the Season 10 Doctor. I will wait for it on Amazon Prime (not Amazon streaming videos).
Capaldi seemed to have trouble fitting the role. I couldn’t stand Companion Clara. She was too bossy the first Capaldi season and it took most of that Season for Capaldi to even start acting like a Doctor Who. Rumors had been circulating since the first Capaldi season that he was not content with the role and wanted out.
Capaldi was good in The Musketeers.

That show went “full retard” a long time ago.
Dr. Who is (from what I remember from my childhood) a Time Lord who is periodically reincarnated into new physical bodies. So sure, why not have the next one be female. The issue with the newer Dr. Whos isn’t whether the lead is male or female, the issue is that the newer stories aren’t that good.
Not the first. The First Female Doctor Who was in this Rowan Atkinson spoof for Rednose Day (at the end) -

I’ll watch it to see if it worth an hour a week. I’m not keen over the idea of a female Doctor Who.
Question to anyone...
Have any of the twelve Doctors had a sexual relationship during their brief and various incarnations?
I’ve watched all the Tom Baker episodes, but just a few episodes of the other Doctors, and they all seem to be celibate, and somewhat asexual.
