A MALE FAIRY TALE Once upon a time, a Prince asked a beautiful Princess,
"Will you marry me?"
The Princess immediately said, "No!"
And the Prince lived happily ever after, and rode motorcycles and dated thin, long-legged, full-breasted women, and hunted and fished and raced cars, and went to titty bars and dated ladies half his age and drank whiskey, beer, and Captain Morgan, and never heard bitching and never paid child support or alimony, and dated cheerleaders and kept his house and guns, and ate spam and potato chips and beans, and blew enormous farts, and never got cheated on while he was at work, and all his friends and family thought he was friggin' cool as hell, and he had tons of money in the bank, and left the toilet seat up. The End. **********
At some point, he’s going to want or need the fulfillment of deeper purposes - like somebody to drive him to his doc appointments or empty his bedpan with love, instead of disgust or a sense of ‘work’; some bright young grand-kids to brighten his Christmas Morning, and remind him of when he was also fresh and young, and to whom he can teach the wisdom that he...by the way, do you learn wisdom through a profligate life?
He’s going to pine for connections that he never made.
It’s not a fairy tale, it’s sort of a horror story. And riches won’t help, if some of the titty girls hit him with paternity suits. (Vaquero didn’t tell us if he’d had a vasectomy - which don’t always work :-)
It’s sort of amusing to watch all the supposedly conservative FReeper women swoop down and start with the nitpicking and henpecking, as if that isn’t one of the major motivations behind your “fairy tale” to begin with. And, it goes straight over their heads.
Chocolate......half price!
I may die alone; or my husband may. But we will have had decades of memory-making, character-building through shared difficulties, bonding and loving to see us through the lonely years.
People who aren’t willing to make commitments and live by them wind up having very thin ‘lonely-times’ at the end, however it goes.
Is this your opus?
You mean like changing his diapers?
As posted, the author is inknown
A female friend got it as an email and forwarded it to me. When I got done laughing, I started passing it around
If it is, it’s the only amusing and coherent one I’ve seen :-)
“People who arent willing to make commitments and live by them wind up having very thin lonely-times at the end, however it goes.”
And how did you wind up an expert on the feelings of people men who didn’t live the way you think they should?
That is so arrogant of you. You actually believe that someone who didn’t spend decades with the same person is shallow and has no deep bonds, no amazing memories, nothing they look back on with happiness?
Oh, and by the way, they might have kids even without a wife. They might also have sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, friends, etc.
From your lips to G_d’s ears.
Live fast, die young and leave a good corpse.
Had to type that quickly, you-know-who is in THE SAME ROOM!
I think you missed the ‘repentance’ part. After repenting, ‘go & sin no more’.
A recent study by the American Sociological Association found that women initiate 69% of all divorces.
An even higher rate of 90% of all divorces are initiated by college-educated women.
Two..uh... I see what you did there!

I was responding to the apparent ‘character’ in Vaquero’s original fantasy post. That character seemed to be very shallow and not very far-thinking.
All sorts of things can happen to individuals in REAL life. The result of experience in the individual life, depends upon the nature and attitudes of the individual to whom things happen.
The future I don’t know but I DO know the past, and SO FAR, feminism has been more dangerous to Western Civilization than NUCLEAR WEAPONS.
This is unsurprising, considering that (a) feminism is psychological poison, and (b) the colleges are indoctrination-centers for it.
