Metmom it’s not school related but again it’s parent related so ping at your discretion.
Little Jeremiah do you have the “moral absolutes” ping?
Alas, Brave New Babylon.

The reset is going to be brutal.
My daughters used to get this. I read a couple of issues. It went straight into the trash after that.
I don’t like Brave New Babylon!!! I want to go back to Little House on the Prairie!
YouTube had a top trending video on kids (under ten for sure) getting instruction on masturbation, dildos, etc.
Saw it on The_Donald and exited after 10 seconds. Seemed like something a pedo would show a kid pre-molestation.
Not surprised at anything our degenerate culture produces at this point.
getting more pornagraphic.
Its been about a year the owners of Cosmopolitan mag have been running ads on WABC talking about the content of this mag and how it is harmful to minors.
I am 55 and I can tell you that even back when I was 16, 17 these mags promoted promescuity and I am sure it has gotten worse.
Thank God for good, white on rice, parenting!!! Oh I was so mad at them at the time for being strict!!! Now you do the same for your girls!! FReegards
Cosmo has been a how to sex guide for decades - and teens buy it. So, I’m not really surprised by this. Sad.
“I am 55 and I can tell you that even back when I was 16, 17 these mags promoted promescuity and I am sure it has gotten worse.”
Maybe I missed something but all I remember was the clothing, jewelry, makeup and hairstyles they promoted. Maybe that was all was looking for don’t know. Somehow missed that they promoted sex all the time. Too busy trying to be the next Brooke Shields or Christie Brinkley to think about getting laid.
Apparently, this magazine was not widely read by the girls I dated in high school.
I was a teenager in the 1970s, and the only relationship articles in “Seventeen” and similar teen magazines that I remember involved things like kissing on the first date, or breaking up if you found out your steady boyfriend secretly dated someone else. No promotion of non-marital sex of any kind.
Teen Vogue is marketed to pre-teens... PP has got to get them young.
I’m speechless.
Sounds like they are a bunch of perverts. I won’t even click on the article.
Why? Because anal is dirty, disgusting, diseased and dangerous. And there's nothing in it for the girl: erotically, emotionally, or any other way. It does not feel good on any level. It feels like you're being cynically used. Which you are.
Above all, it is not making love. Not even by analogy. Not even close.
But now I guess all our 12-year-olds are being prepped to be sluts. Why? It tears my heart out.
If I were to tell you what it makes me want to do to the editors of TeenVogue, I'd have to hit the Abuse button on myself.
For reasons unknown to my household, occasionally we get different magazines that no one ever subscribed to from Cosmopolitan to Redbook. No names are on the label, just address. Just yesterday another issue of Cosmopolitan was in our mailbox. Like the last copy received, this magazine never made it into the house. Straight to the garbage can.
"fashion", "teen" and "anal intercourse"; never thought I'd ever see these words in the same sentence. Evah...
I think you hit all the points on your post.
There is a difference between an entrance and an exit. If a man can't figure out which is which, I don't want him near my daughters (and he better not be one of my sons!).
