OK everyone.
Trump is our president.
He's now about 10% done with his first term. How has he done thus far, in your view?
I really do know better....
That one has his head shoved up where the sun don’t shine and sadly, refuses to accept any/all factual info posted to him.
Unfortunately true.
Remember when FR has mostly very well informed, thoughtful posters? :-)
Sadly, you are 10% correct; it’s far too easy to get sucked in by pinheaded trolls. *sigh*
The libs will say that the only reason the GDP is up is because Obongo did such a great job and it took some time for his great work to take effect. It is only by coincidence that it happened once Trump took over, and the improvement would have been even greater if Hillary had stolen the election.
I thank God every day that that magazine cover is a complete fiction.
Hillary’s purpose was to finish the destruction that Obama started.
A+
Here is actually a fair, objective assessment from the Slimes.
https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2017/us/politics/trump-agenda-tracker.html
My 2 cents -
Greatest hits:
- “Reversing key Obama policies”
- Gorsuch
- Travel ban (Slimes not updated for Supremes decision yet)
- Overcoming: massive attacks from CNN and fake news, corrupt 9th Circus, Russia zealots, appointments stalled by Dems, and GOPe in Congress
Misses:
- Infrastructure (meh)
- Import tax (meh)
- Repeal and replace ACA - left too much to Paul Rino
Real nice analysis, onpardons. Yes, we must weigh what’s been accomplished considering his entrenched opponents.
His progress is remarkable, and a successful future is assured all the more by selecting perhaps the greatest Cabinet ever.
Best of all, he’s instilled a new pride in America and made We The People realize our potential to create a new era of Greatness when all his election opponents were content to continue to march to globalism and to strengthen the oligarchy.
I would say that Chinese made products enable many retail stores to even stay in business.
The US markup on all these Chinese manufactured goods is tremendous. You’re talking 10-to-1. And the cheap manufactured price allows retail stores to hire employees to man the stores.
The net effect then of a lot of Chinese retail products is to create retail jobs in the US. And don’t forget that a lot of retail goods are designed in the US — such as Apple iPhones. And I read this week that the Chinese manufacturer Foxconn, is exploring places to build plants in the US.
He not only lives there, in Nan’s, he throws frequent parties there to which she’s uninvited; and boy, she really freaks out when it happens.
As to what our newly elected President has accomplished..wall, etc, etc.
Delighted to see him attempt to correct a major mistake long incorporated by the left to take GOD out of our Government and nation. Slowly he is turning the ship back on course.
The wall to keep illegals OUT is important, but more important is KEEP OUT ILLEGALS which in some part can be done with no barrier. We have been told first steps on this by summer’s end. Will await to see what has transpired till then.
There is little to fault, and much to rejoice. In addition, the entertainment we’ve been shown has presented us hours of jovial amusement.
Last, but most important, he has placed our Constitution upon a pedestal to be honored, no longer ignored and used as a substitute for catalog pages in the outhouse.

To build a solid, new house takes long hours of labor AFTER removing the debris that remains in demolishing the old, run down, leaky abode. THAT, is a good deal of garbage.
America really, really, really needs a president who will look out for American jobs.
For (more than) the entire last generation, EVERY SINGLE US PRESIDENT has encouraged companies to outsource.
Now we run a massive trade deficit, yet nobody. Not one democrat. Not one Republican. Nobody, on either side, is saying one single word.
I thought Trump got it. I really did.
Until now, I have not seen one speck of evidence, that has been followed through on.
It is very, very disappointing.
Don’t get me wrong. Trump is doing all sorts of good things.
But I really expected more from him, on global trade.
I am 100% satisfied with President Trump’s job performance thus far.
I give him an A.
I pray for him, his cabinet and family’s protection.
I pray for God to bind and smite the MSM, McConnell, McCain, Ryan...it is expected the dems will hate...but our supposed side is too much to bear...we’d have overturned o’care, have the wall started, and tax cuts by now otherwise.
I am very thankful he is our president.
The vibe on the street is very positive...even liberals’ lives have improved, even if the are too obtuse to know who deserves credit.
He's doing better than most of fussy ones would have us believe and most of the "issues" are because of the RINOs he's forced to work with.
“America really, really, really needs a president who will look out for American jobs.”
We have one. His name is President Trump. He’s not been in office for 6 months yet & he’s doing a magnificent job, all things considered.
You’re one of those sad folks who will die to achieve the perfect rather than revel in the good.
Nothing? Seriously?
What about ENDING the disastrous TPP and restoring the Keystone and Dakota Access Pipelines? Both of these pipelines will aid us tremendously in selling our home-produced oil to reduce the trade deficit.
And with OBSTRUCTIONISTS from the LEFT AND RIGHT
My prediction, at least two of the six will be off the ban list in two months.
