OK about 10% of Trump's first term is now complete. How has he done thus far?

I would say, so far good. He is working very hard, while dealing with so many haters trying to sabotage him.

The fact is that trump can do nothing by himself and even with lots of help it is going to take more time than any one wants it to take.

I believe the border wall is the only thing i am not sure about, i support him in every thing else and not against him on that.

One more miss:

The H1-B and other guest worker & training visas.

Still, I’d have to give Donny an A.

Thanks...I tried and tried to get the thread's poster to look clearly at reality; sadly, to no avail.

It's amazing how very much President Trump has actually been able to do, in such a short period of time! To get a true picture, it does behoove people to take an honest look at past presidents and what they were/were not able to do in the first five months of their first term.

As an example, JFK was an utter and complete disaster and even the N.Y. Times had front page, above the fold negative articles and they were shilling for him!

OTOH...LBJ was able of getting a lot done ( mostly for ill ! ), by figuratively "waving the bloody shirt" of the just assassinated JFK.

Okay, for the trillionth time....IVANKA'S MOTHER WAS NOT AN AMERICAN CITIZEN WHEN IVANKA WAS BORN; HENCE, SHE IS NOT A "NATURAL BORN" CITIZEN, WHICH THE CONSTITUTION DEMANDS FOR THE ELIGIBLITY OF A NBC; no matter what was ignored re wee barry.

Bed that as it may, Ivanka would NOT win a primary against other GOP candidates; many people would NOT vote for her; include me in that group.

You’ve supported Trump on these board for two full years, but only signed up in 2016? How does that work?

You haven’t paid any attention to the proposals put out and responded to by hundreds of companies on the wall design? It was in the news earlier this week. Again.

Maybe you should pay closer attention and not expect quite too much in a few short months?

Relax, I’ve been a FReeper since 2005.

Trump is a heck of a good president. I totally support the guy.

I am just trying to get some movement on these two issues, which are the biggest two issues for me:

Build the wall.

Bring back American industry.

To get a true picture, it does behoove people to take an honest look at past presidents.

Jim Robinson started a thread today on Harry Truman being a likely heavy tweeter. I think the style parallels to Harry S. are appropriate.

But in terms of accomplishment, Trump has no equal. Look how far the nation has sunken into the swamp.

Trump is popular among we Deplorables, and that puts pressure on the GOPe. By 2018, Congressmen who want to get reelected will be eating out of his hand, I think.

The Fake News came out guns blazing on January 20th, but now look at them -- they are getting their butts kicked because Trump knows how to fight back. That's a definite first!

And to be honest, he hasn't really begun. The big wins are coming.

There are many once American industries which will NEVER come back!

WHY?

Those skills were lost many, many decades ago, with no living people around to teach others, nor the machinery with which to make many items and the R&D to develop new machines, would probably be robotic ones. Which, BTW, would NEVER make as good a product as the human hand and the old machines, in combination did. Also, the products would be extremely expensive for people used to buying the cheaper crap, which wear out very rapidly, as opposed to much older things, that were made to last a lifetime or longer.

Long ago, perhaps during the primaries, even, I had posted about Trump and Truman's similar style...when dealing with the press. :-)

I'll have to go look for JR's thread; it sounds quite interesting and spot on; many thanks for telling me about it!

Oh yes....The stupid MSM ( and others ) are getting their due payback; thanks to our great president ! And the damned RINOS had best wake up and stop fighting President Trump!

I’m sorry for jumping to conclusions on you. There is nothing wrong with having high expectations, but it’s good to have several lower ones too. My biggest expectations of Trump are to keep a balanced budget, eliminate deficit spending and to pay off the National Debt. If he can’t accomplish these in 8 years, he joins the ranks of several before him, who couldn’t. No big deal, except we get closer to not being able to raise enough money for a military force needed to protect us, each time an administration fails on these 3 items.

A+....I marvel at the way he kicked in the front door and is letting the little guy into the establishment.
Now can someone make a gif of Trump the King kicking Grima CNN-Wormtongue down the steps?
