Gentlemen,

One other thought: Please please PLEASE don't migrate FR to Facebook. Having a page there as an emergency message place is fine. But if you move the site itself into that swamp, you'll lose a large number of us who refuse to fight with Facebook's awful cr@p, fake news, rampant leftist attitudes, and not-so-subtle censorship. That would be a shame, and I believe FreeRepublic's important mission would be corrupted or lost.

I join all the FREEPERS who are happily “back home” on FR in saying THANK YOU to Jim and John for the excellent result!

I have taken some time off from politics and all the lost friendships and difficult times fighting for Trump during this election. I am constantly reading and planning!

I am not kidding. I had one tell me that “We should go back to the Happy Days of the Economy like when Ike was president and the tax rate was 90%.” Honest to God. They weren’t kidding. Apparently that is some crap they are spreading at Dummie Underground. They actually believe a 90% tax rate will “stimulate the economy”. How do you share a country with people that damn dumb?

I would also like to say every time anything happens the resident “nerds” urge you to “modernize” FR. I am not a nerd by any stretch of the imagination but I love the format here so hope that never changes. I post at many different kinds of message boards and this one is far more user friendly for me. It is always clear who is responding to who/what and no need to dig through numerous posts/pages to keep track of a conversation. FR may not have all the bells and whistles but as far as I am concerned those are highly over rated and the more fru fraws the more confusing a site gets.
