A fat beaver stuck in a wrought-iron fence was rescued this week by a quick-thinking animal services officer.
The adult beaver, still carrying excess fat from winter hibernation, was found stuck between two fence bars around noon Tuesday on a private property in Hamilton, city spokesperson Ann Lamanes said in a release.
Officer Sarah Mombourquette used soap to free the beaver, which suffered some injuries.
After resting at the citys animal services shelter and snacking on some vegetables, the beaver is recovering at the Hobbitstee Wildlife Refuge in Jarvis, Ont., and is expected to eventually be released back into the wild.

HER teeth? No wonder the military did not want women involved. Getting ready to frag their own side cause their whoo hoo hurts? Cause their sensibilities are offended? No wonder young men are pu$$ies.
Truth Bomb!!!!!!!!!!!

Yesterday I got new Nike sneakers and last night I used soap to soften the back of the heel.

Is it true that the maple leaf on the Canadian flag will be replaced by a beaver?

Me, too, but I like leaving the pelt. I'm old school like that.

I think the maple leaf is there to cover the beaver.

North American Beaver (Castor canadensis)
Should have used Castor Oil, maybe there wouldn’t have been any injuries.

The beaver must be an Independent voter, stuck on the fence like that.

How embarrassing for the beaver. They’re so cute though.
