Survivor contestant Jeff Varner who outed fellow competitor Zeke Smith as transgender on Wednesday nights episode of the CBS reality competition has been fired from his real estate job.
The Greensboro News & Record reports Varner was fired on Thursday from Allen Tate Realtors because he was in the middle of a news story that we dont want anything to do with.

Lawsuit?
“Lawsuit?”
Who do you want to get sued?
Who do you want to do the suing?
Competing victim groups. Apparently gay transgender “man” trumps gay man.
“in the middle of a news story that we don’t want anything to do with.”
The lesson would be, say away from that microphone, stay way from the camera, stay away from the media and keep your mouth shut.
Who’s the actual survivor?
Transgenderism is a lie. He was fired for exposing that fact.
I’m so confused. Was the “transgendered” creature a she posing as a he, or vice versa? And if he/she/it was so “proud,” what was the big deal? And why did the real estate company practically fall over in a collective dead faint - about nothing?
Talk about through the looking glass. Nothing makes sense anymore.
I didnt know that. What crazy stuff.
This is the same tyranny that occurred in the old Soviet Union. Instead of being put up against the wall and shot, you lose your ability to support your family. This totalitarian mussel of free speech is why we have the Constitution. It is time we stood up against this bullying.
More PC crappola. It just never ends. It’s way past time to take a match to the entire gas-soaked politically correct steaming pile in this country. Let it burn for days, weeks, even months. Whatever it takes to get rid of it entirely.
Let’s bring back common courtesy and common sense to replace it. Speak plainly and directly. None of this beating around the bush nonsense. Just say what you mean.
After finding out more details about the people involved who cares.Weird times indeed.
The lesson would be, say away from that microphone, stay way from the camera, stay away from the media and keep your mouth shut.
Be a good slave,
“This is the same tyranny that occurred in the old Soviet Union. Instead of being put up against the wall and shot, you lose your ability to support your family. This totalitarian mussel of free speech is why we have the Constitution. It is time we stood up against this bullying.”
There is no tyranny here, it is not like the Soviet Union and has this nothing whatsoever to do with free speech or the Constitution.
A man made a decision to go on a TV show, the company he works for did not wish to be associated with what he had to say while on the show and they fired him.
It was his right to go on the show and it was the company’s right to fire him.
No one’s rights have been violated.
.
Why do you always post pro-freak opinions?
You must be one of them.
Here is my advice.
Do not under any circumstances talk to the media. There is no possible way that talking to the media can help your case. In fact, talking to the media can only hurt your case.
.
Whose organ do you want to suck?
.
It appears that all involved in this case are freaks as for whatever reason they both wanted to be in the media spotlight and that never works out well.
Aside from that, we have a company that did not want to be in the media spotlight and they terminated a relationship.
Again, the lesson is to never talk to the media and always run away from that camera and microphone.
Zeke should have kept his mouth shut from the very beginning. He told the producers that he is a transgender but also later told Jeff, who happens to be gay. Jeff trying to stay in the game outed Zeke during the tribal council. I can only assume that Jeff figured that everyone knew because if Zeke told him he must have told others. Unfortunately that was not the case.
Now I don’t understand why the Realty fired him since the company was never mentioned. On the show profile it just says he is a realtor. Who knows, if Jeff has ground to sue. Sure was interesting last Wednesday episode.
When companies fire people for unpopular speech, it has everything to do with free speech (notice I said free speech and not first amendment) We have created a culture where a company would fire a valued employee because of social pressure. The social pressure should be the view “I don’t like what you have to say, but I’ll defend with my life your right to say it.” In a culture that values free speech, he doesn’t get fired. We are becoming/have become a culture which is beholden to the dogma of petty tyrants. Free speech is dying.
