My Kaspersky AV subscription has expired and I wasn't very happy with their service. It seems to not play well with either my PC or Windows 10. Any good program suggestions?
I love Eset Smart Security.
Trend Micro seems to work well for me.
Malwarebytes works ok for me.
It may not be trendy, but I’ve used Norton forever, and never had a serious problem.
It’s expensive, but I use McAfee.
I have used the free version of Malwarebytes for years. Never had a major problem.

Contract Platte River....Ask for Brian.
However, a couple others are now doing better. Take a look at their latest testing. Kaspersky is also one they say is tops.
Windows Essentials has worked for me for years now, and it’s free. Works in the background, updates itself and I haven’t had a virus in Lord knows forever. Quit paying for that stuff.
I do have CC Cleaner Professional though to clean up. So I do pay for somethings. LOL
Yes, agreed. Malwarebytes is good too cleaning up those nasty little spyware things. And there is a free version too!
Windows Defender is already on your machine and is free.
Avoid AVG... you’ll never get it off your machine and it’s constantly pushing its own ad-ware.
Security software should be clean and never heard from unless a threat is found.
My housemate used all the famous well-known brands for years. All of them caused his system troubles. He’s used Vipre for years trouble free with complete blocking success. It uses usual and different strategies.
If you’re using Windows 10 DO NOT INSTALL ANTIVIRUS! Microsoft’s Defender suite is MUCH better than any third party antivirus, and since it’s integrated with the OS, Microsoft maintains it.
Several articles have been written about attackers using third party antivirus to compromise systems, because newer attack vectors know what’s compromised in those antivirus products. It’s just another product you have to maintain. Stick with Defender. It’s solid.
Uninstall ANY antivirus you have on your system and configure Defender to protect you.
How do you know of a threat if you don’t run a check ?
Isn’t an AV scan needed to determine that?
Eat healthy
Get plenty of Vitamin C
Get plenty of sleep
Stay away from sick people
Wash your hands frequently
Excercise.
