Domestic Spying: Rep. Devin Nunes, chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, says that the Obama administration surveilled Donald Trump's transition aides and possibly Trump himself following November's election. If true, it warrants a major investigation.
"I recently confirmed that on numerous occasions the intelligence community ... collected information about U.S. citizens involved in the Trump transition," Nunes told reporters.
Nunes immediately came under intense criticism from congressional Democrats for his revelations. What's both hilarious and sad is that these are the very same Democrats who have been nearly silent as a series of illegal leaks from the intelligence bureaucracy have made their way into the mainstream media, in a transparent attempt by unnamed intelligence officials to damage Trump's presidency.
Nunes, speaking Wednesday and citing only "sources," was careful to note that the surveillance of Trump aides appeared to be both legal and "incidental" that is, not part of a directed spying operation on Trump.
Of course, that appears to be literally true. But it's also irrelevant. Democrats and the media keep mentioning the word "incidental" as if it exonerates what now appears to be a domestic spying operation against Trump directed from the Obama White House.
"Incidental" doesn't mean unintentional.

Btw..nunes and Schiff are on the gang of 8
Linda and McCain are in on the spying. Count on it.
Lets see who else was unmasked in an incidental surveillance. Bet it is a pretty limited.
Article of Impeachment #6 voted by the House Judiciary Committee on July 27, 1974 against President Richard Nixon:
“endeavouring to misuse the Central Intelligence Agency, an agency of the United States;”
Yes. It's not surveillance surveillance. /s
The question we should be hearing everywhere: What did Obama know and when did he know it?
Lolol.
truepundit claiming insiders think mccain is the leaker. Has had access to the surveillance.
McCain's got to either be knee deep in this OR have his fingerprints all over it. IT's the only thing that can explain his reactions. Wouldn't it be so delicious if he were forced to resign?
This is what really made Comey nervous on Monday. Rogers was ready to say he could list his people that had authority to unmask. Comey did not want to go there.
The good news is Thanks to Mr. Trump this issue is out there and Comey acknowledged the severity of the crime.
Now the trail should lead to the full extent of who all was unmasked, who requested the unmasking, who the unmasking information was passed to, why in the world would Trump family members be included in the unmasking process.
Drain the swamp.
;-)
Yes. It's not surveillance surveillance. /sit was only incidental surveillance
Incidental surveillance - you know, like collateral damage.
“Did Obama surveil Trump?”
“Is the Pope Catholic”?
“Do bears poop in the woods”?
Adam Schiff is a Podesta operative from way back; Nunes does not trust his fellow lawmaker from the swamp; nor should he.
Dang, that Hillary!!
She is always doing what she accuses others of doing!!!
She was on the Committee, methinks.
Incidental surveillance - you know, like collateral damage.- like Friendly Fire”!
“I’m delighted Nunes had the good sense to go to the President first. It’s called insurance, and in this particular situation it is a very, very good thing.”
Many of us were glad to see Admiral Rodgers, our NSA Director, make an unauthorized visit to President Elect after the election. Clapper, Brennan and other Trump haters wanted Rodgers fired. That didn’t happen and he is still the Director of the NSA.
I’ll tell you, NSA is being cooperative,” Nunes continued, “but so far the FBI has not told us whether or not theyre going to respond to our March 15th letter, which is now a couple of weeks old.
The FBI is not cooperating with the House of Representatives’ investigation into the NSA’s surveillance of the Trump campaign during the 2016 election, the chairman of the U.S. House Permanent Select Committee, Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), said today.
During an explosive press conference outside the White House, Nunes told reporters that communications from the Trump team were picked up and disseminated within the government during the 2016 campaign. Nunes said sources within the intelligence community presented him with the information. He spoke to the press after briefing the administration.
“We dont actually know yet officially what happened to General Flynn,” Nunes said of how communications from Gen. Flynn’s calls were leaked to the press. “We just know that his name leaked out but we don’t know how it was picked up yet. That was one of the things that we asked for in the March 15th letter, was for the NSA, CIA, and FBI to get us all the unmasking that was done.”
“And I’ll tell you, NSA is being cooperative,” Nunes continued, “but so far the FBI has not told us whether or not theyre going to respond to our March 15th letter, which is now a couple of weeks old.
Nunes also reported that as of now, he “cannot rule out” President Obama ordering the surveillance.
And contrary to earlier media reports, Nunes clarified that the surveillance was not related to the FBI’s investigation into possible collusion with Russia. This surveillance, he emphasized to reporters, does not “have anything to do with Russia.”

“Incidental”. Like the nosy neighbor who claims to be bird watching, but seems to always be directing his bird watching in the direction of the neighbors pool; and only when their teenage daughter is sunbathing.
Also, that neighbor seems to launch his drone with a GoPro attached when their teenage daughter and her friends are sunbathing.
However, no problem as the neighbor isn’t wire tapping. He is only doing neighborhood surveillance. :)

It is now or never. This is the golden opportunity to destroy the ‘Rat Party and the Media, and relegate John McCain and company to irrelevance.
