FULL TITLE: Who is the real monster? Trolls blast 'indifferent' Muslim woman seen walking through terror attack but the internet leaps to her defence
A row broke out today over a photo of a Muslim woman who was trolled after walking through the terror attack on Westminster Bridge while looking at her mobile phone.
The pedestrian wearing a brown headscarf and grey coat was pictured holding one hand to her head while walking past a victim being treated on the pavement.
She was criticised by one social media user for allegedly appearing indifferent to yesterday's attack that brought terror to London – but others leapt to her defence.

Muslims live on the edge of tomorrow. They are inured to interpersonal and system degradation and violence. Just another walk in the park for the muslima.
She is likely reporting results. Otherwise she out not be near at this point. Should have been taken down on fear she had explosives.

Gave her that benefit of the doubt too. If she tried to help, yea people would want to toss her into the Thames. Have a feeling if she’s crying in that pic she’s thinking “because of this idiot Abu Buzzfeed now they will want to do a Donald Trump on me and have me deported”. She may be a good citizen, who knows and now has to suffer because of morons in her religion.
Truth is that picture was one taken one moment in time and just happen to capture her.
You can’t really tell much from the one photo. The person on the ground already has several people trying to help. She looks distressed to me, not indifferent. Like another wrote, maybe her mother knew she was in that part of town and she’s calling her to tell her she’s OK.
She is doing exactly what muslimes do, they view non-belivers as less than dirt and not worth any attention. . .yeah, she was strolling past and doing more important stuff, like texting.

I’m reserving judgment on this one; a single still photo doesn’t tell the whole story.
It’s not altered, I saw the image come up in practically real time yesterday on traditional media websites.

I think everybody reacts differently and this kind of stuff is just yelling at people for the sake of yelling at people. On the one hand people are all upset at the selfie guy, on the other they’re upset at the person who moves on. What do they want? You’re either going to look or not, not really a 3rd path here. As long as they aren’t actually impeding first responders it doesn’t really matter what people do, there are no “right” reactions.
What should she have done?
