Why has my iPad screen suddenly gone blurry with moisture?
Shows the strong bond between handler and K9. RIP Bodza... and thank you for serving the nation!
I’m having issues with my computer. My monitor is so blurry.
Sad.
When we had to put down our dog, my wife and kids came in with us. They stayed until it was over and they left.
I wept like a baby in there with that dog for about 20 minutes.
It was worse than losing some close relatives. He was the best dog a person could want. Some of my relatives...meh.
Damn you.
Title was truncated, so I thought he would be hugging the coffin.
Frickin bleary eyed.
Thnx.
To me, having known MPs from my youth that served in Vietnam, the emotion is in the details...
Note that the leash is wrapped about the soldier’s neck and clipped behind his back; he has set his dog free! No better statement of relationship can be said.
Gut wrenching.
Had to put our lab, Jed, down last year. Terrible.
I feel so bad for this guy. Been there, done that. It breaks your heart, and the pain never quite goes away.
It’s a gut wrenching experience to lose any dog, but especially one you’ve raised from a puppy, the bond is something that people who’ve never experienced it just don’t understand. They’re so loyal and true, so trusting and dependent. They don’t understand mortality, it’s all in your hands. Be good to them, that’s all I’ve got to say. They’ll give their all for you without a second thought.
Know exactly how he feels. (Except for the together in battle part) Our pup died suddenly in January. Needed tissues for this one...
Every time I read a story like this, I start to weep. I weep for the owner’s loss and I weep because “been there, done that” with my childhood toy fox terrier after 16 years and 5 cats over decades of cat ownership, all of which lived to be 16 except one, who died last year just shy of 10 years old from bone marrow cancer.
