Malia Obama looked especially happy to be headed to work this morning as cameras caught the former First Daughter smiling on her way into the office.
The 18-year-old flashed her pearly whites — and flaunted her long ombre locks — as she arrived at her internship at the Weinstein Company in New York City on Tuesday.
Malia hasn't often grinned for the paparazzi while going to her production company gig, which she started in late January — but the teen seems to have gotten into the swing of things and appeared to be in a good mood this morning.
She dressed casually for the office in a pair of black leggings, black boots, and a bomber jacket, while her two-tone strands fell around her shoulders.
The natural beauty seemed to be make-up-free as she got out of her chauffeured car, a backpack slung behind her, and let herself into the building.
She also took a moment to talk on the phone before hanging up, smiling for the cameras, and heading inside.
Malia scored the prestigious internship for her gap year before starting at Harvard next fall.
She's making about $9 an hour in the production and development department, reading scripts and deciding which are worth pitching to executives to put into development. Sources told TMZ that unlike some other internships, Malia's job doesn't involve a lot of menial tasks like fetching coffee.
In the past, the movie company has produced Django Unchained, Silver Linings Playbook, The King's Speech, and Lion.
It's not all work and no play for Malia, though. This weekend, she caught a Broadway play with her dad, managing to keep a low profile in the audience before sneaking backstage for pictures with the cast.

They saw The Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Arthur Miller's The Price starring Danny DeVito, Mark Ruffalo, and Jessica Hecht.
I was trying to figure out how 4'10" 72 year old Danny DeVito and 5'8" 49 year old Mark Ruffalo play brothers, but Tony Shaloub and Mark Ruffalo play the brothers. That makes more sense.
Easily disprovable with a simple web search. And that "Michael" stuff = fake news. Time to let it go.

WHO CARES! Sorry for yelling, this child has achieved nothing except being created by two communistic, America hating, race baiting, leeches. This goes for the Bush girls, the Clinton’s(well one of them)daughter or any other child or sibling of any politician or so called celebrity whose only claim to fame is an accident of birth.
Rent isn’t a problem. Her parents know a lot of rich people. They have kids who have apartments. I guess she stays with them. Maybe she gets her meals with people who want to meet a president’s daughter for free because they pick up the tab. She probably gets into the office after all the free donuts are gone, but she’ll survive.
A couple of years ago I had a gay salesman tell me he loved my hombre hairdo. I had no idea what he was talking about. After he explained, I said “honey I have no idea what hombre means, I just have dark roots at the moment and it’s not intentional”.

"Ombre" must be British. In the U.S., it's called "belange," supposed to be "cool." High maintenance, is what it is. 'Course $$ isn't a problem if you can survive on $9.00 an hour!
