A member of my family has Oscars on... That's why I am watching some parts of the show...If I had my way, I would watch something else...
Mel Gibson's film won sounds effects award...

The Maker of the movie that won the Best Foreign Film ( which came from Iran ), was not there to receive the award but prepared an acceptance speech read by a proxy attacking Trump’s policy of temporarily banning refugees and visa applicants from 7 countries ( including his native Iran ).
LOUD APPLAUSE of course.

This is the night when I really miss Drudge’s old Sunday night radio show. He used to do a great Oscar night show for those who never actually watch that self-aggrandizing and-self-congratulatory, Hollywood mutual back slapping and butt kissing orgy.
