McDonald’s is planning to launch a crab sandwich in the San Francisco Bay area.
The fast good giant says the sandwich consists of snow crab meat mixed with mayonnaise and served with tomato and lettuce on a sourdough bun. …

I’m waiting for someone to make a baked Salmon Sandwich.
Crab has such a bland to delicate taste, it’s almost like eating tuna, minus the ‘excitement’ of cracking shells and wearing bibs.

FYI: Surimi aka imitation crab, is made from hake, a soft cold water fish, which until the 80s was unmarketable until someone found a way to process the fish into imitation crab and large Alaskan draggers made fortunes.

I grew up eating “clean” meats and only tried crab as an adult and hated it. Twenty years later, attended a wedding in New England and decided to try lobster in the alleged best area in the world for it, and discovered it tasted just like crab!
