But those who suffer severe forms of premenstrual syndrome may be suffering from more than raging hormones – their symptoms could be caused by a parasite carried by cats, research suggests. Scientists found women with extreme symptoms such as depression and anger are more likely than others to have the parasite in their bloodstream.

Dare I say it? My wife has been having some issues that have steadily gotten worse over the past two years. We also got a cat two years ago. Correlation does not necessarily imply causation. It does imply that one investigate the correlation though...

As a woman I agree with you.

It hacks women off when you say..”oh it must be your time of the month” etc.

Do the investigation before you bring it up. Hard to have a woman tested for the parasite without her knowing but maybe you can test the cat. (I didn’t read the article)
