From the YT page: One of their own has been captured. They need to get in, get out and ask for forgiveness later. Watch new drama series 'SIX', inspired by Seal Team Six missions, premieres Wednesday January 18 10/9c on HISTORY. #SIX
It has “Shane Vindrell” from The Shield in a lead role it looks like. He’s very good, though he seems to usually play bad guys.
Looks exciting to me. I just wondering whether I should try to watch it every week or wait until after the first season and binge watch it on Netflicks.
Cliché filled liberal views of special operators? No, thanks.
Hollyweierd always make it seem like specops don’t speak English, can’t hold a conversation, and speak only in one-liners.
It’s at the childish mentality of “that’s what she said”.
Well, if it is on The Hitler channel sooner or later Team Six will have to travel in time (a la ST:TNG) and take out Hitler’s bunker at war’s end.
Clandestinely so as to not change the time line.
The son of a friend plays one of the snipers and he says they tried to be as realistic as possible with seals input. Anxious to see it.
Wow. Something mildly history-ish on The History Channel. Who would have thought?
I’ve been waiting for this show for weeks.
Will DVR after The Vikings a very good show itself
No the trailer looks like the typical Hollywood take on warriors.
It is designed to make you think you are actually learning something. Want to learn about SEALS? Read their books
Later
FYI
The movie, 13 Hours, is now available on Amazon Prime.
[I have it in my Watch List, but have not watched it yet.]
Trailer looks like typical Hollyweird interpretations and re-tellings of the tall tales of sailors in the vein of Zero Dark Thirty. I literally laughed out loud in the theater when the “SEALs” talked to each other after insertion...
13 Hours was at least believable.
