Police Chief John Letteney said when police arrived they found 18-year-old Priyanka Kumari lying on the ground suffering from serious injuries. They said it appeared the girl had just got off the school bus and was walking down a sidewalk when 20-year-old Neel Salil Mehta came up and attacked her.
During his first court appearance Friday morning, Mehta appeared calm as a prosecutor told a judge that the 20-year-old had been thinking about attacking the Holly Spring High School senior "for at least a couple of weeks." The prosecutor said that a witness called 911 and told the dispatcher that it appeared the man was attempting to "saw off" the victim's head.

Kumari is a Nepalese name- not Muslim.
Mehta is Indian. Hindu or Sikh, means chief... I don’t know if it’s used by Indian muslims like Kashmiris but I doubt it...if the guy was muslim what are the odds of a muslim not having “Mohammed” in his name somewhere?

It is time for a real national debate on immigration. The practice of allowing millions of refugees into the country, who have no interest in assimilating, needs to be halted immediately. It will take decades for this country to assimilate the tens of millions of unskilled immigrants from third world nations allowed into the country by the two Bush administrations, Clinton administration, and the Obama administration. With over 90 million working age Americans jobless, and tens of millions more in the part time labor force unable to find full time employment, we have no compelling national interest to bring in more unskilled immigrants.
Let the wealthy Middle Eastern countries (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iran) take in the refugees from the region. Let African countries take in the refugees from Somalia and Ethiopia.

Mehta told police that Kumari hadn’t been returning Mehta’s calls, texts or emails. .Mehta had been sending her threatening emails and had been planning the attack for several days.
