No, not fascist in the hollow ad hominem name calling sense, which the liberals are constantly engaged. Fascist in the sense of the U.S. government targeting U.S. citizens for their political views.

He is still Lyn’ Ted and his days are numbered. Zero tolerance for this liar, will never forget, and look forward to him resigning or being primaried in 2018. His lies and actions cannot be forgiven or forgotten.

That’s one thing you can count on “conservatives” to do, eat their own. While I’m a fervent Trump supporter, he did not run a flawless campaign himself, particularly before Bannon and Conway came on board. We can always count on liberals to continue to attack Trump and Cruz, so why the hell should we join them?
Senator Tom Cotton, Iraq vet, Senator Mike Lee, Senator Rand Paul; there are a number of good Senators but we know the only one who knows the Constitution is Ted, that the only true Conservative is Ted, Mark Levin says so. Watch for the Cruz Cult to come out.

I'm with you. I was second to none in my criticism of Cruz during the campaign. However, the Presidential campaign is a crucible few could tolerate without going nuts (I guess that's part of its purpose, to weed out those less capable). I think some of the Cruz weirdness may have been attributed to the stress of that crucible. IMHO as a result of his behavior during the campaign, I don't think he's Presidential material, but that doesn't mean he can't be a valuable associate in the fight for MAGA. In the course of history, great leaders had men by their side who were not cookie-cutter clones of themselves, but nevertheless were part of the team.
If Cruz is working towards MAGA, that's good enough for me. Yesterday was promising. We'll see how things play out over the next year or so.

Cruz is helping Trump more than most senators. You people need to get over your butthurt.
Trump was no saint in the primaries. You and Trump have no moral superiority over anyone.
It’s like Rick Perry said, accomplished Conservative Governor, not hot air Senator, “If the Republican Convention was about party unity, Senator Cruz didn’t get the memo”; the Cruz cult can tell us about “eating their own” etc. That’s rich.
Plenty of Cruz backers still say negative things about the Nominee/President-elect whenever they can. Crocodile tears, take a look in the mirror.
Even without Cruz’s speech, which again, smacks a lot like the things Rush Limbaugh says, the vote on Sessions will likely pass.
I’m glad Cruz did it, he should be lauded for it but the Levinites, Beckites and Cruzites need to consider the total picture.

Conservatism was here before Trump and Cruz, and will be here after Trump and Cruz are gone from the scene. The cat-fight and hissy-fits between Cruz and Trump are irrelevant. Meanwhile, I’m hoping that these two champions of conservatism will both accomplish much more.
