Trump ally Newt Gingrich says his big worry about President-elect Donald Trump's incoming administration is that they'll "lose their nerve" – and faced with flak from the left, "give in."

In an interview with ABC News' "This Week," the former Speaker of the House said the new Trump administration will have to take positions the "left will hate."

Concern troll crap like this, is why Newt isn’t (and won’t be) part of the Trump administration.

Dude has a big brain, but an even bigger mouth.

In small measure exampled (a word?) by Newtie claiming that Trump had backed off from the verbal claim to drain the swamp of DC.

Trump, ya know I love you, Buddy, but really, it’s all about me. Meandcallista. So, in case you go down, this is my little marker that said I warned you. Done. How did I sound? She says amazing. Gotta run.

Dude, please put down the bong. America has to go back to work Tue morning. We don’t need peeps with a hangover (like Newt) on the job.

Conway, Priebus, Spicer, Giuliani, Gingrich, Christie (not appropriate given the bridge scandal), and many others have served as Trump surrogates on the MSM talk shows. They deserve our thanks. Don’t fall for fake news, especially from NewsMax. Each spokesperson has strengths and weaknesses.

I agree. Given the way Trump roasted Hillary at the Al Smith charity dinner I would have to say he doesn’t play politics.

Yep. And I’m worried about it too. Not only Democrats but Repubicans will fight him tooth and nail.

I do understand.

I have watched Newt many times, and he’s usually brilliant. Every once in a while he says some things that make me shake my head. I haven’t noticed this with anyone else.

Yup.

Pretty biased specifically against the whole anthropomorphic global warming stupidity.

Also everyone who tries to push it.
Including Pelosi and Newt.
And you.

Trump is not the problem...He's going to have an up hill battle with the Republicans in Congress on every issue...

Personally, I can't wait for the fight. It's going to be loud, personal and public. DJT just destroyed the Bushes, Clintons, the MSM, political correctness and the elites of both political parties. McCain, Ryan, McConnell & Lydia Graham won't know what hit them.

The only dude that makes sense and is trustworthy and will not back off is Donald Trump.

I think you’re right. If DT keeps doing what he’s done for the last year+ we are going to see the fall of McCain et al. I think he’s the real deal so I’m looking forward to him handing their asses to them daily. He’s not perfect, no human is, but he’s perfect for our Country.

I like Newt, put he says some dumb things from time to time, just like when he said Trump wanted to abandon his “Drain the Swamp” slogan when that was not the case.

I agree with Newt.

There's already evidence from Trump that he'll back off of a lot of his campaign rhetoric.

One way or the other, it will be interesting to re-visit this thread 2 or 3 years from now.
