A Florida man is in jail on charges that he threatened President-elect Donald Trump on Facebook.
The Secret Service arrested the 59-year-old Krohn on Thursday at his suburban Fort Lauderdale home after agents say he posted at least two threats against Trump. In one, he allegedly wrote that he was glad President Barack Obama hadn't seized his guns "because I see a good use for one now" over a picture of Trump.

Did anything more happen to Matthew Harrigan other than resigning his job at the security company? I’ve not heard whether he was even arrested for saying he would kill Trump with a Sniper rifle aimed at the White House.
Seems like two different threats.
Each one should be tried and prison for each of them.
Don’t Rob two banks and expect to get tried for only one in most red states.
“...With age, comes wisdom...”
Sometimes it comes with douchebaggery.
He’s proof.
Hope the asswipe enjoys the New Year in Jail.
Look of a real winner here, folks.
Wonder how many times he voted.
Did that CEO who threatened Trump get arrested? He lost his job. Probably still free.
LOCK HIM UP!
LOCK HIM UP!
LOCK HIM UP!
(or get rid of the law)
LOCK HIM UP!
That was hilarious.
My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed liberalism. Prepare to die.
His appears to be the proverbial “three hots and a cot”.
What DROVE HIM to make such serious threats (i.e., to be held without bail)?
Was it perhaps the FAKE NEWS in the Mainstream Media?
The DEMOCRAT SCARE CAMPAIGN against Trump?
The SILENCE on the part of Hillary/Obama during the pre-election and post-election rioting?
What, exactly, did the liberals do to cause this? Perhaps if they had only ARGUED THE ISSUES, rather than personalize the campaign, people like him, and likely thousands of others, would have ACCEPTED the outcome and would not be such a threat to society.
Perhaps it is time that soon-to-be Attorney General Sessions investigate LEFT-WING HATE GROUPS, starting of course with the Democrat Party. He needs to determine whether they should be prosecuted and disbanded under RICO, for inciting violence against innocent people, and driving people like this man to want to kill others.
Maybe whoever broke and repositioned his nose with a left hand hook was a Republican. At least, I’d like to think so. I’d be willing to put it back in place with a right.
He will serve more time then his heroine hillary.
NOT GUILTY — That pesky 1st Amendment thing is always protecting the citizenry.
Cable TV, rec room, gym. If you’re married or even just attached, conjugal visits.
Looks like he can afford hair dye. Ugh.
Should threatening someone, verbally or in print, be illegal? Should the president be given special consideration in these cases?
To me, a physical act is one thing. Speech is another. I lean to thinking this should be protected under the first amendment. But - it’s a grey area. What concerns me is when these kinds of laws are unevenly enforced.
Oh I doubt it. My brother has been threatened by his ex’s fiancé...now former fiancé. The cops wouldn’t do a thing about a murder threat. Pretty much told him to just be careful. The jackass told my brother he knew how to murder people and make it look like an accident. He served time in prison already for assault, but the cops just looked the other way. The same will happen with the threats to the electors.
Tend to agree, a harsh sentence on this buffoon who was clearly making a bad joke will just enrage the ten silent guys who were already more likely to do the action ... and around here, there should be no great enthusiasm for harsh sentences for overblown rhetoric (just in case the Democrats ever get elected again).
IAFT - It’s About Friggin Time
Lock em up!
I can’t seem him getting convicted. That is a pretty mild “threat” as threats go.
I see a difference between somebody saying he is planning to kill the president and somebody just spouting off. I realize even this kind of mild stupidity gets you a visit by the SS protective service and added to their list of people to watch in your town, but I can’t see this being prison time.
