Supposedly the movie costs $13 MM to produce plus another $16 MM on marketing. Might as well have torched the money.

All this time I thought that Miss Sloane was an actual person. Never knew it was a movie so I guess all the money used for marketing was not very effective.

I could smell this movie’s stench a mile away. Even the advertising, which always has the best scenes, could not make this political screech palatable! No matter to Hollywierd, they will always find someone else’s money to spend on another screed, just like Ms Stein’s recount effort. The bad thing is that this movie will be readily available political propaganda fodder for the LEFT for years to come.

I saw the TV preview and knew it was worthless on my entertainment scale.
Looking forward to Denzell in Fences, though.

The movie’s poor revenue is just proof that Americans don’t want to be lectured on gun control.

Obviously, the money behind this movie thought Hillary would win and they would ride the wave of post Hillary election Second Amendment hatred to Academy Awards and mega riches.. Ask Al Gore what happens when you run on gun control. Will they ever learn???

Might as well have torched the money. Same mindset behind the Bloated and Inflamed Pantsuit Wearing One's campaign.

I wish it had cost them more.
$29 million is a drop in the bucket for Hollyweird these days and they are, no doubt, pleased with their “virtue signalling.”
