Was gonna post this some time by Christmas or New Year's Day. What with Trump winning AGAIN, we can remember how Hillary got canned during Watergate (someone can post the details).
If you shop wisely, you can make this for $10 or less and have a light dessert for a whole lot of folks.
I got whipped topping 2 for $3 BUT this past week found them for 89 cents each on sale. Got 2 more last night.
WM's pistacho pudding is 68 cents a box in my area; grocery store was about 75 cents.
WM marshmallows were about 98 cents and crushed pineapple was about $1 and change. TODAY, I used Very Cherry Fruit Cocktail instead of the crushed pineapple. Hope some of you get some enjoyment out of it.

In physics “matter” and “antimatter” will annihilate each other
In politics “what matters” and “what difference does it matter” will destroy the candidate that it says it... we called the Benghazi effect

Three things make food taste and taste good:
1. Salt
2. Sugar
3. Fat
Cashews are 75% fat. With salt...oh my. Their fat content is what makes them sooo deeeelicious.
Nuts have protein but...way too much fat.
Oh well, it WAS fun while it lasted.

If you can't find 'Cool whip' (hear there's a shortage) Make your own. It is infinitely better tasting. There's just no comparison. If you've never made your own, you've no idea how delicious whipped cream is. (It's like comparing the awful cranberry glop that comes in the cans to making your own)
Just pick up a carton of 'whipping cream' at the grocery, add a bit of sugar and vanilla and whip for a few until it's the right consistency. You'll never buy 'Cool Whip' or the likes again!

I make this every year. Everyone loves it. Last year, I couldn’t find pistachio pudding, so I used cheesecake flavored instant pudding and everyone raved about it.

I do somethng ng similar. Frankly I’ve never known Watergate Salad to include fruit cocktail.
Couple of tubs of whipped topping
Mix in a couple pkgs of Pistachio instant pudding mix
Drain a can of crushed pineapple and mix it in.
Work quickly as the pudding mix sets up the Cool Whip in nothing flat.
