When you hear people complaining about Comcast, its normally something to do with bad service or price hikes. But this repair tech found a whole new way to make people mad about Comcast: park your truck right over a blind hill in the middle of a snowstorm, cause multiple cars to bail into a ditch, then drive off while blaming everyone else.
The video shows a pair of Comcast trucks carrying out repairs along a 40mph road in a rural area, in the middle of a snowstorm. Where the trucks are stopped is just over a blind hill, so the Comcast workers throw out a couple cones to close the lane.
Unfortunately, they use four cones about 150 feet behind the truck to close the lane. Cars coming over the hill dont see the cones until far too late, and given the snowy conditions, they bail into the ditch at best.

You know Delta I’m asking myself was it so freaking important that Comcast work on what ever it was they were working on during that storm? Could they have not done that later in the night when there was less traffic? Not when it was rush hour and there was school busses? Really does Comcast ever think?
Oh and for your dumb ass FYI I live about 20 miles away from there. Conditions were treacherous as hell. It had sleeted and there was a thin layer of snow on top. At 5 mph it took me 150 ft to stop. It was the slickest I have ever seen it. I took my car in to the service station and had asked the neighbors to pick me up since it was going to take all day. I pulled in on their road and was literally going 5 mph. I paced it off. 150 friggin feet. Have ABS. You are a jerk.
When something goes wrong in your house, you call the utility responsible ... enough calls brought those guys out to the point of repair.
They could have pulled into a driveway. I live there. A layer of sleet covered with thin snow. Slipperiest I have ever encountered in 40 years of driving.
And you muttered to yourself you could’a should’a stayed home.
Yes there was no where off the road they could park. However you know what? Dude was using his truck to shield him from cars so he not hit. I saw two, count it TWO school buses pass by. Those school buses be bigger than his diesel truck and would have knock his truck into him and squashed him like the bug he is. Idiot! He should have done this at 2 am when there is no traffic on the freaking street!
Why are you yelling? Yeah, i live in fishers and it was crummy here, too. How does this make me dumb?
“When something goes wrong in your house, you call the utility responsible ... enough calls brought those guys out to the point of repair.”
I’ve had Suddenlink on my street at the wee hours of the morning. Not blocking traffic not causing wrecks.
You’re obviously white collar.
...and it obviously wasnt.
SilverSociopath 23 hours agoLegally, Comcast was in the wrong. This occurred in Indiana. On a two lane road, if you were to block one lane you MUST have flaggers.

Page 24 describes it. Even if the drivers were idiots in your opinion, Comcast is STILL wrong in a LEGAL sense.
No I just have better taste!
Honestly I did, and then called the neighbors cell saying they didnt have to pick me up. They came anyway and guess what. Even with the warning they went over 100 feet. They had just dropped off their boy at school and it was on the way back. Again I say, slickest I have seen in 40 years of driving.
Those Comcast guys knew it. They drove out there. IMHO the only shame here is some semi didn’t jacknife and wipe those two miscreants out.
I think nearly every single person in this filmed encounter is either a dummy, a jerk, or both.
The only person I feel bad for is the person driving the gray sedan that got rear-ended by the black pickup truck.
Dummies, standing on the side of an icy road, gawking. Just get away from the road, call the police, go stand on the other side of the hill and wave your arms, whatever. Anything would have been an improvement.
And that woman wearing pajamas. What is it with people?
Wow... I am honestly ashamed to live so close to you. You have no sense. You are a drone.
Knarf where I live road workers now work from 11pm to 6 am. Why? Less accidents! DUH! Less people on the road at that hour plus in summertime it’s cooler. This started oh..about ten years ago and now it’s mainstreem except for parts of my state hit hard by that flood last summer.
If it was so bad how did the Comcast guys get there?
What state can you obstruct a travel lane without Manual of Uniform Traffic Control compliant signage and cones up to and including one way control???
No, the DRIVERS should use a little common sense !

And so should the comcast employees.
