When you hear people complaining about Comcast, its normally something to do with bad service or price hikes. But this repair tech found a whole new way to make people mad about Comcast: park your truck right over a blind hill in the middle of a snowstorm, cause multiple cars to bail into a ditch, then drive off while blaming everyone else.
The video shows a pair of Comcast trucks carrying out repairs along a 40mph road in a rural area, in the middle of a snowstorm. Where the trucks are stopped is just over a blind hill, so the Comcast workers throw out a couple cones to close the lane.
Unfortunately, they use four cones about 150 feet behind the truck to close the lane. Cars coming over the hill dont see the cones until far too late, and given the snowy conditions, they bail into the ditch at best.

Apparently the comcast workers complied with the company’s and state’s regulations. I don’t understand why they were called ‘lazy’. I didnt watch the video because i’ve reports about this already, it happened in the area. They could have done a better job but they did, allegedly, do what they were supposed to. Not taking their side, just sayin’.
Comcast should be held responsible for all the damages. I believe they’re employees should be held responsible to use a little common sense.
A driver that runs into a parked vehicle is responsible for the accident.
The charge is “driving too fast for conditions”.
They did to a certain degree. 1 cone for every mph so 4 for 40 mph, however people were telling them they could not be seen in the snow. Their trucks were blocking the street. They should have had a flagman. Plus I think the man filming this should have called 911 and said “we have a serious problem here”. The Comcast workers acted like they just did not give a rats *** that they were causing accidents left and right one of which could have been a school bus.
They were not turning that road into the Indy 500 plus people have told me that going uphill you have to get some speed in the ice and snow. Like I said those trucks just could not be seen.
No doubt about that though I wonder how fast the cars were going, too. I remember when my daughter totaled her car by running into a tree at five miles an hour on an icy street that the insurance fella said ‘anytime you wreck your car in bad weather it means you were going too fast for the conditions’. My daughters car was a Mazda something. Just happened to hit the ‘sweet spot’.
Exactly! They did not give a rats ***. Right now on Facebook Comcast is being slammed with these videos/stories. People are upset!
This youtuber did a commentary about it...

Still the drivers’ fault. Same as “overdriving your headlights” at night.
There are accidents daily around every major city where people run into stopped vehicles, again driving too fast for conditions, possible in broad daylight in good weather.
Aggressive driving is rampant in cities, and why insurance rates are higher.
Have you seen where people are begging them to move their damned truck? People who have already had accidents because of its placement? Have you seen their jackass answers? Have you seen the myriad of people next to the road because these lazy F*CKS were not willing to park off the road almost get hit by more cars coming over the hill.
You are a jackass.
When you see the video...these trucks can’t be seen until you are right up on them. They did not have enough cones and they did not have them far back enough. It’s not so much speed as it’s these trucks were not seen till it’s too late. What is worse someone was trying to warn these Comcast workers and they did not freaking care.
Friggin snowing?!? That is so unsafe it is criminal.
Any thing outside the normal driving conditions forces people to have to think and reason sensibly, and this is what you get.
See why 4 wheel drive is useless on ice!
Witness how much larger and less maneuverable school buses easily drive by without problem because they are not driven by morons!
The cars going off the road are stupid drivers that have licenses that PROVE ... they don't know how to drive (in icy conditions)
I HAVE comcast, and it sucks, sucks, SUCKS ... but these guys aren't lazy ... the drivers should be cited.
Failure to maintain control of your vehicle
Lesbian.. NO name calling please.
I’m trying to explain the situation to IC as best I can. Comcast is known for being buttheads and this is their latest example. By far this is the worst case of customer service they have given, and they are well known for bad customer service. The fact Comcast did this does not in the least surprise me.
No, the DRIVERS should use a little common sense !
THERE WAS NOWHERE OFF THE ROAD THEY COULD PARK !
